Warning[edit]

Why are you uploading images that already exist at other locations? Every single image that you've uploaded today has been uploaded earlier by IsaacGS, so I deleted them all. In order for the images to work with the MapleStory monster template, the images must be in the format MS_Monster_MonsterName.png (case-sensitive). Please check the upload log before you upload any more images to make sure that the image does not already exist. Otherwise, what you are doing could be considered spamming, and spamming is not tolerated on StrategyWiki. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 15:15, 18 July 2007 (CDT)

Did you download the latest ThaiMS client? If not, are you sure about the map names? If so, can you possibly upload it or at least the .wz files to a filehosting site so I can take a look? XD --IsaacGS 01:03, 4 August 2007 (CDT)

Commas before and[edit]

There is technically nothing "wrong" with having the commas before the and, so we don't really encourage changing from one to the other (some people believing the other is better would start changing it back, which could get ugly). If you are adding to the guide, try to pick the more common style used in the guide, but don't worry about "correcting" it for everyone else (unless it is decided as a guide wide/site wide policy). -- Prod (Talk) 17:35, 10 September 2007 (CDT)

GMS Patch .45[edit]

Hey Hurricane, how can you be so sure of what GlobalMS is releasing? If there's no monsters, what is being released in GlobalMS? --Jezza 07:31, 25 October 2007 (CDT)

Use of "Soon"[edit]

I really, really don't like putting "soon" in the charts. For one, it's speculative; we don't know for a fact that MSEA version .48 will contain the Cave of Life yet. Yes, it would make sense, and it is very likely, but we don't know. However, since this "soon" thing has become common now, this is how I think we should do it: only mark something as "soon" if it has had a preview released on the site for that version. For KMS, that would be the release on Test Servers; for JMS, the patch previews in the form of a discussion between two people; for CMS, pictures/preview on the site; for TMS, normally a flash preview; for MSEA, this will be the patch notes release, typically a few days before the patch actually takes place. Sometimes, with things like the Amoria replacement, it will be significantly ahead of time. Otherwise, we should limit soon.--IsaacGS 12:25, 5 November 2007 (CST)
