Creating new pages[edit]

Please put {{Header Nav}} and {{Footer Nav}} templates into new pages. You can use the buttons above the edit text box ("Guide page") to automatically insert the templates, and there are also links to insert them below the text box. Thanks, - najzere 10:12, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Duke Nukem 3D[edit]

I see what you were doing with the organization of the Duke Nukem 3D guide, but I think that level of complexity is unnecessary. All the pages should be on the Table of Contents anyway, so making "quick links" to them on the Walkthrough page is somewhat redundant. Additionally, creating pages under the /Walkthrough subdir, means either making the Header navs or the Footer navs different than on other pages. Unless there's a reason for a different type of navigation, do you think the standard guide layout will work for you? - najzere 10:38, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

In response to your latest userpage edit, I just wanted to say that the way to resolve any edit conflicts you may have is through discussion. I know you're familiar with how wikis work, so I'm sure you knew when you started that anything you contribute can and will be mercilessly edited by anyone who comes along. Garrett is a long time admin here and is very reasonable if you were to leave a message on his talk page about any concerns you have. You're a valuable contributor and I'd hate to see you leave, but you certainly haven't exhausted all the avenues to a an amicable resolution. - najzere 05:14, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Not really a problem with that editor, more with what seems to be the practice here, which is merging/deleting without discussion or notification. Deleted pages can't be reverted, after all. I'm used to merge tags and talk pages. JeremyMcCracken 08:15, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Actually deleted pages can be reverted, however deleted images cannot. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 09:06, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
