Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Lukey140701! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide or ask a sysop, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. To keep up-to-date with the goings on of the wiki, consider adding the noticeboard to your watchlist.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! — Prod (talk) 23:02, 13 June 2016 (UTC)

Feel free to put pages in their final location. You can always tag it with {{wip}} to let people know you're still working on it. -- Prod (talk) 23:02, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
As you can probably tell, I tend to work in long timeframes and you mightn't want an unfinished article there for weeks. Lukey140701 (talk) 21:20, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
As long as it is even a mildly usable page, there's no problem leaving it unfinished. We work in pretty long time frames as well! -- Prod (talk) 23:31, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
Works in progress are permitted and encouraged on this site. Bare in mind, it looks like another user is working on the same content as you: Fire Emblem Fates/Characters. I suggest you start placing your material on the page before the other user gets sufficiently underway, or you're going to have to find a way to merge your content into his. That page will help get rid of most of the red links on the article I'm working on which is classes, rather than characters. I'll probably work on said article on another wiki since the interface of this one is a bit bulky to me, and transfer it back afterwards. Lukey140701 (talk) 18:34, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
Turns out you had just linked the wrong article but someone had beaten me to the classes article. Lukey140701 (talk) 19:25, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
What specifically do you find bulky? Someone particular to StrategyWiki, or something about the way the characters page is done? I'd like to know to see if we can introduce any improvements to the site. Procyon 19:09, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
Personally, I find the sidebar to be wider than it needs to be and the social buttons at the side can be a bit off-putting. Also, I'd rather that the action bar (discussion, edit, history, move, etc.) didn't follow you down the page as it takes up a bigger area than what I'd want. I may be able to change some of those in preferences but I haven't really checked those yet. StrategyWiki just follows a different layout to most wikis I'm used to, so it may just be that I need to get used to it. Lukey140701 (talk) 19:25, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
