Diamond/Pearl

Let me know what kind of screenshots you want for the game (and which version you want them from, if that matters, I'll use Diamond if you don't specify one). I've recently downloaded the ROMs for both D and P (they run slower than heck, but hey, they work). I obviously won't be able to get screenshots from later in the game yet, but I can help out with the early stuff. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon/Walkthrough

Myth, I'm losing my patience—no, I've already lost it a while ago. Just shut up, stop coming up with pointless explanations, and fix the page already! As of right now, for better or for worse, you are the primary contributor to that guide. If you can't take responsibility for replacing the content of one page (which you are driving everyone else nuts about) then what are you doing here? You made Garrett take the time to do something, that should have taken you five minutes to do on your own, just to stop your complaining. And I'm very upset about that. That he felt he had to take the time to do something you should have done on your own. You spent more time whining about why the page needs to go than it would have taken you to replace the content with something useful! How hard is it to erase what was there and put something like "Walkthrough explanation coming soon." or "This page will explain how to use the guide." or anything!!! There is no one on this site who need his hand held as much as you, and I don't understand why. Everyone starts out new and has to learn, but this goes way beyond learning how to edit guides. If you want to continue to be a valued member of this community, you're going to have to start taking responsibility for the problems that you create, and fix them on your own. I appreciate the response that you left on my talk page. I'm glad that you understood my point, despite the amount of anger I used when expressing it. Myth, you don't need to justify yourself to me or to anyone else. All we ask is that you be as accountable for your work as we all are. I know that you can, you've shown us when it was about something that was really important to you. There are fun aspects about writing a guide, and not-so-fun aspects. Good writers treat both kinds of aspects (the fun and not-so-fun) with equal importance. I'm now confident that you will know how to resolve similar matters in the future. Uploading images

First, the image you want to upload has to be on your harddrive. Next, click Special:Upload. Source filename is the name of the file on your comp (use browse to find it). Destination is the name on the server (for Mystery dungeon, something like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon some name.png (or whatever the extension is. Polite request to limit personal edits

Hi Myth, Procyon here, totally not upset or anything, but again, I have to ask you to try to cut down on the number of edits that you're making to anything other than guide-specific material. Archiving is good, but most people tend to archive once every three to six months, not every day. I'm not sure if you're aware of the impact you're having on the history, but every time you make an edit, you're saving more and more information to the database each time. Now, it's not like we're going to run out of space anytime soon, but each of these edits that you do, whether it's writing back to someone just to say "Thank you", or updating your to-do list, or touching your archive frequently, that's just that much more space that you're using up that could be otherwise dedicated towards walkthroughs and guides. I am in no way telling you to stop editing your user pages entirely, they're there for you to use how you see fit. But it would be greatly appreciated if you could limit it to, let's say 10 edits per day, or something there abouts. The closer you can get it to once a day would be great, but let's take baby steps first. Thanks very much. Procyon (Talk) 13:24, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

I just meant 10 edits to your user page and related pages specifically. By all means, make as many edits as you need to on game-related pages, that's what we're here for. Of course, you already know to preview your edits before you save, so you're not one of those micro-edit offenders who makes ten changes to ten different parts of the same page and saves each change individually instead of gathering them up into one giant change and saving them all at once. I suggest sticking to personal milestones. For example, I only update the number of watched pages every 100 or so (or if I feel like throwing in a value during a different edit). And I only update the number of pictures after every 10 or so. --Notmyhandle (talk • contribs) 20:16, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

I'm talking about only changing it after a certain amount of new edits (or value changes). This is what I do: I have about 94 image contributions at the moment (statistic on my user page); once I have 104, I'll change the statistic, and then at 114 I will again, or whatever. Sometimes I go by 11 so that the digits are always changing (94, 105, 116, etc.). I get bored of seeing the same thing all the time. For number of edits however, I only update the statistic every 500 to 1000. Stub pages

Hi. In future, could you create pages like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon/Battle Concepts only if you have some content for them? Creating stubs with absolutely no content doesn't help too much, as it means people can no longer immediately see from links to the page that it needs content. Linkable Image, In Sig

Hey Myth, so for the code just use IMAGEURL where PAGENAME is the name of the page you want the image to link to and IMAGEURL is the actual url of the image (for instance not http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Image:GameCube_logo.png but rather http://media.strategywiki.org/images/b/b9/GameCube_logo.png ( http://media.strategywiki.org/images/b/b9/GameCube_logo.png ) if using an image on SW). Anyway, if you want to make an image smaller than that default size, try something like http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/b/b9/GameCube_logo.png/24px-GameCube_logo.png ( http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/b/b9/GameCube_logo.png/24px-GameCube_logo.png ) - it seems to only work down to 24px. You need to have the system generate a thumbnail of that size first though, just add the code for the image to be the right size, feel free to add it to my image thumb page here. Also, if you are going to have a linkable image in your signature, it is a requirement that you make your sig into a "template" format. This means, you put the code of your sig on a page such as User:Myth/sig or something, then create another page at User:Myth/sig2 containing only {{User:Myth/sig}}. Then, in your preferences, you put {{subst:User:Myth/sig2}} (the reason this is two-step is because if you don't put the subst: part in your preferences, it'll put subst: there for you). pokemon dungeon participation update

Hey, I finally got a copy of red team so I'm going to take intensely detailed notes this time. Playing through 3 times still seems like the best way of finding the standard items and encounters.

Also, I stopped working on the item list since you mentioned you were going to use a devise to give you the whole entire list... Since that hasn't happened yet I'm going back to adding items to the list as I find them. Well, just wanted to let you know what is going on so we are on the same page. Hey hun, thought I would give you an update and try to get a favor from you. Since I now have a copy of red rescue team I'm starting at the beginning and taking detailed notes of the events that happen throughout the game. Right now I'm entering the story bit for Mt. Steel. I'm pretty bad at summeries(not good at being brief and some of the wording is funny). Could I get you to take a look at it and fix anything that is phrased oddly or dosen't really need to be there. I noticed that most of the practically finished games also go into story bits so those are now on my to-do list as well.

Since this is the part where the shops are explained I included a quick rundown of the stores in Pokemon Square. Do you think that should be on its own page?
