MapleStory/Monsters[edit]

Hi. I've seen you doing a lot of updating on the monsters page. I feel it needs to be split up somehow since it is so long, but I'm not too sure how. The standard seems to be be by every 10 levels, but I was wondering if you had any other ideas. -- Prod 12:58, 6 October 2006 (CDT)

I'd rather you didn't mention drops on those pages, as it's subject to change when it goes between versions. Unless the skill books are dropped as part of a Job Quest, it's probably best if we leave the drops out.IsaacGS 15:35, 1 April 2007 (CDT)
Issac, they are part of the Job quest to get skills so they shouldn't change.TKWizard 17:22, 24 April 2007 (EDT)
Global has different drops than every other version already anyway. It doesn't mean anything. Skill books could change, you never know. Plus, when you respond to someone's message, it's best to leave a note on their user page so they see it. IsaacGS 16:25, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
KMS Data files use a different encryption method than every other version. Basically what this means is that i can't extract its stats. There's only one person in the world who can get through KMS's encryption, and that's Rick. the reason they changed it is because too many people knew how to extract data, so naturally Rick keeps that top secret so it doesn't happen again. All I can do is wait for them to reach another version. IsaacGS 16:25, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
I see. Guess we will need to wait till jMS gets it >< or when Rick isn't lazy. TKWizard 17:27, 24 April 2007 (EDT)
When you respond to my comments on your page, post your comment on my page. K? IsaacGS 16:30, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Alright. I'll keep that in mind. Sorry about that.TKWizard 17:37, 24 April 2007 (EDT)
Well, now that Ariant's out in JMS, I can extract the stats for Ariant's monsters. The problem is, I can't get JMS to install anymore. So I was wondering if you could possibly zip up the Mob.wz and Skill.wz files and send them to me? That's all I really need, and this will allow me to get both the new level 200 mount and the stats for Ariant. Let me know if you can upload it, and I'll tell you my info then. Or you could upload it to rapidshare or something. Your choice.--IsaacGS 21:02, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
Sure i'll get on to that right now. --TKWizard 07:42, 3 August 2007 (CDT)
Where did you find the stats for the Grandpa Snail? And were there stats for any of the other ones? I noticed that the El Lucida had an HP bar, so it must be pretty tough.--IsaacGS 17:47, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
Check AijMS. Someone posted the stats for all of the mobs. --TKWizard 17:50, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
Alright, I'll let you finish adding them here. I'll post a link on Sleepywood to the Monsters page here and tell them to get stats.--IsaacGS 17:55, 10 August 2007 (CDT)

TaiwanMS pirates[edit]

Where did you see that? o-o--IsaacGS 13:06, 26 May 2008 (CDT)

What happened in mid may with TaiwanMS was that they started a Pirate class "pre-release" campaign. One of the NPC's from Nautilus (guy with a telescope) is standing outside the gate. Other NPCs in Henesys, Orbis, Ludi, and Leafre send messages to him about the Nautilus's upcoming arrival. CMS is doing the exact same thing. They'll probably get Nautilus in June.--IsaacGS 12:54, 28 May 2008 (CDT)

Image uploading[edit]

Please follow the guidelines on uploading images by using the game's name in the filename, putting a short description in the summary and adding categories. Example. Thanks, - najzere 00:13, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Clarification[edit]

On the MapleStory/Monsters/Level 131-199 page, you added info that I cannot understand to this sentence: "Finally the boss can also attack by thumping his tail on the ground sending miniature forms of himself leaping up in the air damaging maplers behind the boss which is a 1/1+seal attack." I know what the Seal debuff is, but what does "1/1" refer to? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 15:28, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Consolidate your edits[edit]

Hi, thank you for your contributions. Please use full page editing and the preview button to help reduce the amount of edits to the pages you're working on. You can edit the entire page by clicking on the "Edit" tab at the top of the page. Take your time to work out all of the changes you are going to make before submitting them. Making multiple minor edits makes it harder to use a page's history, and an administrator has to patrol every one of the changes you make. If you are editing a page more than three or four consecutive times within 10 minutes, you need to slow down. If you're worried about losing your work, copy the contents of the page into a text editor where you can even save it to your computer if you like. Thanks, — Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 05:27, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

MapleStory Monster changes[edit]

Thanks for the Neo Tokyo updates TKWizard! When changing the name of a monster, like you did for Core Blaze, you need to be prepared to update the monster lists as well. That includes the master list, the elemental weaknesses page, and any other list the monster fits into (in this case, the bosses page). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 05:47, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Oh, and just because I'm nice, I've gone ahead and done it for you this time (check out the page histories and observe what I did). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 05:50, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Also, even though you probably are fluent in Japanese, "デュ" represents "dyu" not "dhu" (see Wikipedia's table).
