Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Trickyb! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- DrBob (talk) 18:56, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Submitting changes to patch information[edit]

Before making changes to the MapleStory patch templates concerning the content available in each version of the game, please find a reliable source that can prove that these changes will happen. Reliable sources include the official sites of the game, official facebook groups, etc. Communities that extract data from the game should be considered speculative. Thanks, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:37, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Consolidate your edits[edit]

Hi, thank you for your contributions. Please use full page editing and the preview button to help reduce the amount of edits to the pages you're working on. You can edit the entire page by clicking on the "Edit" tab at the top of the page. Take your time to work out all of the changes you are going to make before submitting them. Making multiple minor edits makes it harder to use a page's history, and an administrator has to patrol every one of the changes you make. If you are editing a page more than three or four consecutive times within 10 minutes, you need to slow down. If you're worried about losing your work, copy the contents of the page into a text editor where you can even save it to your computer if you like. Thanks, — Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 22:48, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

What is MapleStory DS?[edit]

I'm responding to this diff. What is it? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 22:58, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

MS Availability[edit]

Hey TrickyB, thanks for the help with updating the town pages; I really appreciate the effort. One thing you should be aware of is the spelling of "Availability", because you have been spelling it as "Avalibility" (missing the first "i"). Again, thanks, and keep going! We still have much work to do. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 20:01, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm also in the process of making one for Henesys, Sleepywood(mainly for the Mini-Dungeons and Balrog) and Ludibrium. Also, for the process chart, should I edit it if something has been updated? Also, about the availibility thing, the site I used to go to spelled it avalibility. Sorry about that! --Trickyb 00:18, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
No problem. I'm glad that you have some goals. I will help where I can. Feel free to update the chart as you make changes. I tend to say to myself "I'm going to fix this entire column before updating the chart", and then I spend an hour doing as much as I can and then make one large update to the chart. But that's my way. You can do it one at a time, it's just more work. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 00:22, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Lol I misspelled it in my first response, but you also mistakenly placed an "i" where the third "a" should be. "Availibility" (incorrect) versus "Availability" (correct). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 08:49, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
I really don't think there's a benefit to adding availability to each separate page. It creates two locations where the availability information is stored (which tend to get out of sync). It also adds a lot of "fancy" wiki markup to pages we want new users to be able to edit (and not get scared away). My plan is to remove the availability info from each of the separate pages, and make sure it's all synced up with the MapleStory/Availability page. -- Prod (Talk) 08:28, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
