Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello TyrannoRanger! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the editing article or the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 14:43, 21 February 2007 (CST)

Image categorisation[edit]

I see you've been uploading a few images lately. When doing so, could you please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories? The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --DrBob (Talk) 15:02, 24 February 2007 (CST)

Image placeholders[edit]

Hi TyrannoRanger. If you wouldn't mind, could you please not establish placeholders for images that are not yet uploaded? It only highlights the fact that they are missing. If you would for me to find the images that you feel are missing, please let me know, I'd be happy to help you. Procyon (Talk) 14:25, 12 May 2007 (CDT)

Excellent Metroid box images Tyranno, you did a great job! Procyon (Talk) 17:01, 12 May 2007 (CDT)

Check the change logs[edit]

Tyranno, why did you recreate the Super Nintendo category immediately after Prod intentionally deleted it with the note that the category is being renamed "SNES"? Please check the change logs, or the history of a page before you undo the work that someone else is doing. Thank you. Procyon (Talk) 22:46, 27 July 2007 (CDT)

Image Naming[edit]

Can you please name your images with the game name infront of them so Image:Shadowman.gif would become Image:Mega_Man_3_Shadowman.gif as this helps categorise all of the images together. Happy Editing.--RockyRally-X Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 13:05, 18 August 2007 (CDT)

Thank you very much for doing this. Can I delete all of the original badly named images??--RockyRally-X Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 13:24, 18 August 2007 (CDT)
Sure, Rocky.
Procyon's already done it.--RockyRally-X Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 13:29, 18 August 2007 (CDT)

GBA TwinBee[edit]

It's a little hard to argue that the GBA version of TwinBee was developed by Nintendo. The ROM contains a slightly modified version of Konami's original program. You could argue that Nintendo oversaw the converion of the title to the GBA, but Konami was still the developer. Procyon (Talk) 20:37, 11 January 2008 (CST)

Mega Man 1 sprites[edit]

What do you intend to do with all of the MM1 sprites that you uploaded? There really isn't much need for them. If you're not going to place them in any guide, then they're just taking space. What is your plan? Procyon 04:33, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

Enhanced sprites[edit]

Hey, the enhanced sprites that you've been uploading, look good, but they could really use a drop shadow behind them, especially sprites with a lot of white like some of the swords. Procyon 00:39, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Sorry. Got confused on step 6. I got the first five steps right. I got the instructions from this. TyrannoRanger 19:37, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
Nicely done. Procyon 14:52, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
Great job! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 15:53, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
Sorry to disagree, but I really don't like your "enhanced" sprites. The 8-bit programmers made big efforts to make their sprites look three-dimensional, while your modification, IMHO, makes them look absolutely flat. For example, a 2D-sword may seem thin and sharp, but I think your modification makes it look like a thick wooden slab, much less realistic. Vice versa, a 2D-brick may suggest to be cubic and the 2D-head of a chracter may look spherical, but your modification makes them look flat. Shall we talk about this? :-) --Abacos (talk) 22:15, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

Mega Man X3 upgrades[edit]

Hi TyrannoRanger, thanks for adding the X3 upgrade locations! Can you explain what each upgrade does? Particularly the enhancement chips? I'm very familiar with the series, so leg upgrade makes sense to me, but leg enhancement does not (I've played X3 a bunch, but it's been a while). Buster enhancement = extra shot/particle splitter? Leg enhancement = 2nd dash/air dash? Head enhancement = ??. Chest enhancement = shield? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:14, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

For http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Mega_Man_X3/Armor_upgrades#Gravity_Beetle_.28X-Buster_Enhancement.29 what did you mean by "It can also consume its energy"?? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 21:24, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Thank you!! You're awesome. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 22:32, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

DuckTales[edit]

Aha, thanks for catching my mistake. I added some more redirects for this game. I am hoping to help with the guide, soon, too. You did a great job with the How to play, btw. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:59, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Please don't add to a guide while I'm actively developing it.[edit]

I'm not trying to be a dick, but please don't add to the DBDF walkthrough until I'm finished with it. If you want to correct typos or terminology, that's fine, but I'm pacing my way through the walkthrough and I'd appreciate it if you could be patient and wait for me to finish instead of adding on to it yourself. Thank you. Procyon 01:52, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Good to see you around here still[edit]

Hey I was just cleaning up the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (arcade) guide today, merging the NES version with the arcade one, and I saw your name come up in one of the page histories. I sort of missed that you've been editing a couple of times a month this year, but I hope you stick around! You've always had solid edits and I know when I see a recent edit of yours I need to patrol, that I won't have to worry about wasting time cleaning up a mess, rather I see permanent additions. =) Cheers! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 03:43, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

The New Zealand Story Enemies[edit]

Hey, I need your help. I made a strategy page about the NewZealand Story (a game by Taito). I am on the enemy page so I need your help to do some and I will do some too. How does that sound. I have GIMP ready. By GamePlayer 500
