Geist wikify

I took care of the wiki linking. The main reason is that there's too much info on the main page. I'm glad you're adding so much information, it's just that I think it might be too much (just to note, I've never played the game before). I would say, stick to a bit about history, an intro to the story and some info about what makes it special (possession), and move anything in-depth about the game to a subpage (like Geist/Getting Started or something). Note that this is just my opinion and in no way reflects policy. I just feel it's a bit too much text.

Bah. sorry. Forgot to do that. Been doing it for a while, But its Way to late for me to think Stright anymore... I also Figured people who haven't played the Game can get a quick Rundown of the Info on just one or 2 pages. I summarized the Geist page, and moved the excess info to the getting started page. The way I imagine it, the main page is like an advertisement for the game. If they're intrigued, they can click further into the guide (perhaps a story/gameplay page). The actual toc can be found at Geist/Table of Contents. It is the same ToC that is included in all the Navigation templates at the top of each page. Game information

Great work so far in expanding stubs and writing a lot of game information, WillSWC! I just want to inform you of a few little niggles I have, but they are only niggles. ;-) Firstly, you're not emboldening the game name the first time it's used. It's a convention here that this is done, and it's so startlingly easy to do; just put ''' either side of the game name. Secondly, there are usually several opportunities to link to other pages in the introductory paragraph for a game (e.g. dates, companies, series, etc.), but you're not taking them. Yah, I've been working on clearing up Stubs ETC. But i dont toss many [[Texthere]] and such because i dont know what all pages are running around and would prefer not to have links everywhere to dead pages. Copying from Wikipedia

I noticed you were adding lots of info from wikipedia. To follow the licensing, whenever you copy info from there can you state where you got the information from. For example, for the P.N.03 page, you the edit text should say something like, "info brought from WP:P.N.03" or something similar, with a link back to the original. --Prod (Talk) 11:00, 28 December 2006 (CST)

Yah, I know. I was still working on finishing the page and was using the Wikipedia Article as a Guideline. Actually though last time i looked at the GNU you Dont TECHINALLY have to give Credit or say where you got it from though i normally do. WillSWC 14:29, 28 December 2006 (CST)

Actually, you have to tell who the authors are. One way is to copy a list of the authors to the talk page, but that's generally frowned upon since there is no guarantee that the talk and main page will stay together. K. For any section Entitled "Acknowledgements" or "Dedications",

  Preserve the Title of the section, and preserve in the section all
  the substance and tone of each of the contributor acknowledgements
  and/or dedications given therein.
