I've cleaned up the links for the page you were trying to create. We keep all pages within a game as subpages of the main game. So the page you created should be at Super Mario Sunshine/Items (I moved it for you). When creating new pages, it's easiest to add the links to the table of contents (link at the top of the page) first, then use the link to start the page. If you need help with anything, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. -- Prod (Talk) 00:02, 28 January 2007 (CST)
Look at http://strategywiki.org/w/index.php?title=Super_Mario_Sunshine/Walkthrough&diff=101964&oldid=101934 and follow that way of making links. -- Prod (Talk) 14:00, 1 February 2007 (CST)

Super Mario Sunshine Enemy List[edit]

I made the page, is that what you wanted? --Notmyhandle 00:39, 28 January 2007 (CST)

I've fixed some of the links you were making. Please take a look and link that way in the future. -- Prod (Talk) 22:14, 31 January 2007 (CST)
To add links, just follow the same format as the other pages on Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door/Table of Contents. Just use the Preview button when editing until it comes out the way you want. -- Prod (Talk) 22:39, 31 January 2007 (CST)

Opinions of the list[edit]

It needs more content. You've given descriptions, that's nice, but there's more! Now you need to collect the data on how they can be killed, i.e. how many times you have to jump on them or spray them, list if they are invulnerable or not to different attack methods, etc. Finally we'll want images, but don't worry about that, some day someone will come along with a TV Tuner and take care of 'em all. Keep up the work, and thanks in advance! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:40, 14 November 2007 (CST)

Keep saves to a minimum.[edit]

Hi Yoshi64. I noticed some of the edits that you were making to Mario Sunshine. Whenever possible, please use the "Show preview" button instead of the "Save page" button, and save pressing the "Save page" button for whenever you are completely done editing a particular page. It cuts down on the history database. Thanks very much, and keep up the good work. Procyon 12:09, 1 February 2007 (CST)

Proc, what message? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:10, 14 November 2007 (CST)

Your comment on Prod's talk page[edit]

I think I've fixed what you wanted. You forgot to close the tables with the "|}" at the end, so it thought that everything under it was still part of the table. Also, we now use {{Header Nav}} instead of {{All Game Nav}}, so I fixed that as well. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 15:25, 27 July 2007 (CDT)

In the future, please just link to the actual page and we can fix it directly. I just like keeping my talk page relatively clean :). Ryan's change is still in the history if you need it. -- Prod (Talk) 17:35, 27 July 2007 (CDT)

Images[edit]

There are several ways you can get images for a game:

  1. You can take someone else's screenshot and cut out the things you want (like a sprite).
  2. You can get a TV tuner and a cable to link your TV to your computer and then use capture software (usually bundled with the tuner) to get both images and video of a game.
  3. You can get an emulator and take screenshots with your computer.
  4. You can use a digital camera to take photos of the game.

After getting a photo, it's usually good to touch it up a little (crop it, etc.). For this, you need software like Photoshop or The GIMP (it's free).

Hope that helps. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 14:12, 28 July 2007 (CDT)
