Strategies for acquiring all Warrior Spirits[edit]
These strategies require that you take no hits. Some sub-strategies may describe how to recover from taking a hit or two.
From the start, head right and kill three Lizard Men and a Blue Lizard Man. Jump and hold down and attack the stone block to fall through. Quickly run over to the chest and break it open. As you equip the helmet, thunder will come down and kill the wasps. Kill the two green Lizard Men as you continue to the right.
Climb the rope out of the pit, then jump to the right. Immediately throw a spear so as you land, the Lizard Man that appears will be killed before it jumps or while it jumps. Then hop over both ledges. As you land on the snake, hold down and attack to stab it, but quickly fire off a spear so that you shoot it before you land, so you waste no time killing the Lizard Man that climbs up before the hole in the pit.
Strategies for speed runs[edit]
From the start, head right, ignore the stone block, continue to the right. As you jump up the ledge before the spike holes and the snake, immediately throw a spear so as you land, the Lizard Man that appears will be killed before it jumps or while it jumps. Then hop over both ledges. As you land on the snake, hold down and attack to stab it, but quickly fire off a spear so that you shoot it before you land, so you waste no time killing the Lizard Man that climbs up before the hole in the pit.
Throw a spear at the rope and hop onto it, then double jump up the rope, jump over the snake and down attack or spin slash it. Throw a spear or two as you approach the flower, cut it up (ignore the wasp).
