Once Dick Dastardly has reappeared on the screen (out of his car), you shall have to walk to the right, jump up, climb up a rock face (while watching out for two fast-moving snakes), walk to the right, climb up another rock face and walk to the left to pick up a pot of glue; once you've done so, you will have to retrace your steps back down to the ground, walk to the right and then give the glue to Muttley (who will push it to the left). You'll then have to retrace your steps back up to where you found the pot of glue and jump to the left thrice to pick up a funnel, while watching out for a snail hiding behind a rock - and once you have done so, you will have to retrace your steps back down to the ground, walk to the right and give the funnel to Muttley (who will again push it to the left). You will then have to retrace your steps back up to the platform after that one where you found the glue, jump up twice more, jump to the left, jump to the right twice more, jump over a second rock (which has another snail hiding behind it), climb up a third rock face, jump to the left twice more, climb up a fourth rock face, jump to the left over a third rock (that has a third snail hiding behind it), and pick up a metal tube; once you have done so, you will have to retrace your steps back down to the ground, walk to the right, and give the tube to Muttley (who shall, once again, push it to the left). You'll now have to retrace your steps back up to where you found the tube, jump to the right thrice more, climb up a fifth rock face while watching out for three more fast-moving snakes, and jump to the left over the third, fourth and fifth fast-moving snakes to pick up a sack - and once you've done so you'll have to retrace your steps back down to the ground, walk to the right and give the sack to Muttley (who will, yet again, push it to the left). Both Dastardly and Muttley will then walk off the right side of the screen, as the text WELL DONE! YOU HAVE FINISHED. appears on it; you will then be treated to two static images of The Gruesome Twosome's car approaching the glue and getting stuck in it when they hit it (however, they'll get free for the next stage).

Once Muttley has reappeared on the screen (out of his master's car) you shall have to start walking to the right, jump up, bump two question blocks from underneath twice for 400 points apiece, drop down, bump two more question blocks from underneath twice for 400 more points apiece, continue walking to the right, bump fifth question block from underneath twice, for 400 more points, continue walking to the right, jump over a pit, jump up twice more, and bump five more question blocks from underneath twice, for 1800 more points and a bomb; once you do this, you will have to bump an eleventh question block from underneath twice for 400 more points, drop down, and bump a twelfth question block from underneath twice for 200 more points and another bomb. You'll then have to bump three more question blocks from underneath twice, for 400 more points apiece, continue walking to the right, jump over another pit, bump three more question blocks from underneath twice (for 400 more points apiece), continue walking to the right, and bump a nineteenth question block from underneath twice for 200 more points and a third bomb - and once you have done so, you will have to continue walking to the right, bump two more question blocks from underneath twice for 400 more points apiece, continue walking to the right, and bump three more question blocks from underneath twice, for 1000 more points and a fourth bomb. You will then have to bump a twenty-fifth question block from underneath twice for 400 more points, continue walking to the right, bump two more question blocks from underneath twice (for 400 more points apiece), and continue walking to the right as the text WELL DONE! appears on the screen. The text PRESS PLAY ON TAPE will then appear on the screen; once you have done so the text STOP TAPE! will appear on the screen. Muttley will then proceed onto the ninth stage - and it is also worth noting that there are only four left to go.
