In every Passage just before the Boss Room, there is a Mini-Game Room which has 3 games where you can earn Frog Medals to use in the Item Shop. Below is the list of games. When you went through a level, you collected gems which gave you a score. That score is the currency you use in the Mini-Game Shop. Each game costs 5000, except for before Spoiled Rotten is defeated, where it is only 2000 per play. The games are as follows:

  • Wario's Homerun Derby
  • The Wario Hop
  • Wario's Roulette

Wario's Homerun Derby[edit]

This mini-game is considered the best one to get a lot of Frog Medals from, although you might not get them quickly. All you have to do is hit the baseball the pitcher throws to you head on, and you'll always make a home run if you hit the ball in correct range. Like in real life baseball, if you hit the ball to the sides, you'll get a foul and increase your strike count, but not more than two, and if you miss it, you'll get a strike count. If you get another strike while already having two counts, you lose. A homerun will reset your strike count. As you have more points, the pitcher starts throwing curves, fast balls, pause balls, or even makes the ball turn invisible for half a second! You get one medal for every three homeruns made. A female pitcher will appear in very hard mode.

The Wario Hop[edit]

This mini-game is the quickest way to earn Frog Medals, but you don't get a lot at a time. All you have to do is make Wario jump over obstacles in his path while he runs on a tire. The beginning is simple, but once it starts speeding up (identified by a drummer), it starts to get difficult. You gain one medal for every 15 objects passed. One miss and the game is over.

Wario's Roulette[edit]

This mini-game is the hardest and the slowest way to earn Frog Medals. A face sample will be shown for a while, then you need to complete exactly the same face. As you get more points, the sample will be shown in less time, and your choices for each face part will increase. You gain one medal per three points. One miss and the game is over.
