This is not your average GTA game. The only major difference is to be able to hack anything. Not really anything but tools an items which will help you progress through the missions. Also you'll be able to use some tools in addition to shooting guns. Lastly there's some crazy hack challenges which works like Deus Ex Human Revolution but it's more about directing the blue line to a goal.

Fighting[edit]

There's no boxing or kicking criminals down. You now have a baton that flicks open automatically and takes a few knocks to make the criminal unconscious. Ideal when you see the person your chasing have a "take down" sign at the top.

Driving[edit]

You're familiar with cars, right? Well in this game, it's not just cars. There's motorbikes, trucks and you can use the train too! Make use of any vehicle to get around the huge area of Chicago cause you're going to need them.

Hacking[edit]

Hacking is the key to a lot of things. Traffic lights, blackouts, spikes, bridges and steam pipes. Not just that, you can make money, download items and so on. You will really need to use this very skill to progress through the story missions.

Skill upgrade[edit]

This is really important. Without those upgrades, you'll be taken down like a ton of bricks. Upgrade like batteries, defensive armors, disrupting enemies and so on. And if you downloaded added content, you will need to do certain tasks and get more experience to get probably the highest skill. Skill points ranges from 1 to 5. Make sure you upgrade every chance you get to have the maximum experience.
