Dragon's Guardian's Place[edit]

Naturally, the monsters on this floor are the toughest you will encounter in the whole game. They have access to powerful spells, and do tremendous damage with each attack. Know how to make a quick getaway if your party is in danger.

You can only enter this floor if you possess both the Crystal of Good and the Crystal of Evil. Otherwise, you cannot pass through point (10, 4). There is a dragon called L'Kbreth. He is absolutely invincible, with an AC of -20, and a 100% spell disable rate. However, he will only not attack you on your very first visit to the floor. If you fail to accomplish what you need to do here in that first visit, it is very difficult (but not impossible) to complete the game. In order to pass through here, a Neutral Crystal is required.

To obtain the Neutral Crystal, you must collect the Crystal of Evil from the 4th floor, and the Crystal of Good from the 5th floor. Then you must have a party compose of good and evil characters together. Use the special power of each crystal on a character with the same alignment. This will cause the Neutral Crystal to synthesize. If you use one of the crystals on a character of the wrong alignment, great harm will come to them.

Next, you must obtain the item "Orb of Earithin" in exchange for the Neutral Crystal. You obtain this item from one of three statues on this floor. The other two statues provide different things. Examining one of them simply gets you attacked by Xenos. Examining the other nets you the "Orb of Mhuuzfes". Prior to reach either of the orbs, you will be asked to solve a riddle.

Before reaching the Orb of Mhuuzfes, you are asked: ON MY ROLL, YOU MOVE FORWARD; MY TURN IS YOUR TURN. WHAT AM I?
