Below is a list of all the enemies in the game, not including mini-bosses or bosses. Each enemy will include a short description, what Yoshi's likes to eat it (This will not include the black and white Yoshi's, because every enemy is their favorite.), If it is edible, how it can be killed, what world or level you can find them in, and if it was in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Bumpty

• Description: These small penguin-like creatures will run strait into you if they see you. Although this hit will not hurt, the blow will send you sliding off into the other direction. This can be very hazardous if you are near ledges.
• Favorite Yoshi: Light Blue Yoshi
• Edibility: Yes. Eating them will give you an egg, but will not give you extra health or hurt you.
• How to Be Defeated: Slamming, not stomping / Shooting an egg
• World and Level: Page Three - Frustration
• Yoshi's Island: Yes

Cheep Cheep

• Description: These small fish creatures will just swim in a strait line, just ignoring Yoshi. But, if they run into you, you'll lose some health.
• Favorite Yoshi: Pink and Red Yoshi
• Edibility: Yes. Eating them will give you an egg and give you extra health.
• How to Be Defeated: Only by eating.
• World and Level: Page Five - Lots O' Jellyfish and Lots O' Fish.
• Yoshi's Island: Yes

Frog

• Description: A frog that will hop around and try to eat Yoshi. If this happens, Yoshi will lose health all his eggs, including the black or white Yoshi eggs and the White Shyguy.
• Favorite Yoshi: Green Yoshi
• Edibility: Yes. Eating them will give you an egg, but will not give you extra health or hurt you.
• How to Be Defeated: slamming and stomping / Shooting an egg
• World and Level: Page Four - Neuron Jungle.
• Yoshi's Island: Yes

Gabon

• Description: A small turtle-like creature that carries around spike balls to chuck at Yoshi or anything that passes by who originated in Super Mario Bros. 3.
• Favorite Yoshi: Green Yoshi
• Edibility: Yes. Eating them will give you an egg and will give you extra health.
• How to Be Defeated: slamming and stomping / Shooting an egg
• World and Level: Page Four - Jungle Hut.
• Yoshi's Island: No

Stilt Guy

• Description: A Shy Guy on stilts.
• Favorite Yoshi: N/A
• Edibility: No, but licking it bumps it back a few steps.
• How to Be Defeated: stomping, but slamming makes it drop its stilts and become a normal Shy Guy.
• World and Level: Page Four - Jungle Hut.
• Yoshi's Island: Yes

Ick Worm

• Description: A little worm that rides a leaf downwards. These creatures are very easy to dodge.
• Favorite Yoshi: Dark Blue and Light Blue Yoshi
• Edibility: Yes. Eating them will give you an egg, but will hurt you.
• How to Be Defeated: slamming and stomping / Shooting an egg
• World and Level: Page Four - Neuron Jungle.
• Yoshi's Island: No

Puffer

• Description: Weird looking creatures that fly around by puffing out air, as its name implies.
• Favorite Yoshi: Light Blue and Yellow Yoshi
• Edibility: Yes. Eating them will give you an egg and extra health.
• How to Be Defeated: slamming and stomping / Shooting an egg
• World and Level: Page Four - Neuron Jungle.
• Yoshi's Island: No

Teehee Butterfly

• Description: A small butterfly that changes color from pink to blue every two seconds or so
• Favorite Yoshi: Red and Pink Yoshi
• Edibility: Yes. Eating them will give you an egg and extra health ONLY IF IT IS PINK.
• How to Be Defeated: slamming and stomping / Shooting an egg
• World and Level: Almost Every Level
• Yoshi's Island: No

Air Bag

• Description: Pink balloon things that hide in crates that will pop out when you slam on them.
• Favorite Yoshi: None
• Edibility: No
• How to Be Defeated: Shooting an egg at the X
• World and Level: Page One - Surprise!!.
• Yoshi's Island: No

Attacky Sack

• Description: Multicolored ball with teeth that flies around and attacks you.
• Favorite Yoshi: None
• Edibility: No
• How to Be Defeated: Cannot be defeated
• World and Level: Page Six - Magma Castle.
• Yoshi's Island: No

Big Boo

• Description: Giant ghosts that originated in Super Mario Bros. 3.
• Favorite Yoshi: None
• Edibility: No
• How to Be Defeated: Cannot Be Defeated, but can be stunned when shot by an egg
• World and Level: Page Two - Torrential Maze.
• Yoshi's Island: Yes
