Notes[edit]
You begin the game with a sword, helmet, and shield, all level 1. It would be best to equip the helmet and shield by selecting them from the "Use" menu. However, if you happen to be playing Game B and are very experienced in the game, you may wish to hold on to them and sell them at the shop at the very start of the level.
It is extremely wise to proceed only as far as the fifth fight and wander around until you reach level 3 at 120 experience points. This will make a big difference in how difficult the fights in the remaining level are. Even at level 3, the 12th battle with the 3 Gyons can be quite difficult. Repeating the fourth fight until you earn the Armor will help substantially. Also, outside the hidden shop is a pack of enemy, which constantly drop Keys in Game A, which can be sold for a whopping 300 Gold, more than the Medicine x4 (280) in the shop.
