Categorizing Redirects[edit]

Yes, you can add categories to redirects if the title you are using for the redirect was an officially released title, and you want it to show up, say, under the Category for the systems it was released for. So for example, Zelda no Densetsu: The Hyrule Fantasy redirects to The Legend of Zelda, and it has categories because that was an official title for the game in Japan. In comparison, Legend of Zelda also redirects to The Legend of Zelda, but it does not have categories because that's just a shortcut redirect and not the official title of the game. Ah, I see. I was mainly wondering about that in regards to Threads of Fate, which was released in Japan as Dewprism, so that helps a ton. Thanks :D! Magicwindsock (talk) 22:30, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
