An extremely rare Deoxys has been discovered. However, it has turned aggressive for some unknown reason. Capture it and becalm it before it harms other Pokémon or people!
Gain Deoxys's Trust?![edit]
To start this mission go to the game's loading screen and click on Ranger Net then play a special mission.
You start in the Ringtown Ranger Base where Spenser assigns you the mission to find, capture and calm down a Deoxys that's in Lyra Forest. He mentions that he tried this mission but failed and has faith in you and Solana/Lunick to finish it.
When you are ready, head out of the base and the screen will cut out and you will return in front of Krokka Tunnel where the mission begins.
As the mission starts, you walk up to the entrance of Krokka Tunnel and Deoxys jumps in front of you. It changes to its Attack Form and runs into Krokka Tunnel. Go ahead and follow it inside. Capture the Magneton at the entrance just in case you need to recharge your Styler later.

Go up and follow the right path at the fork all the way to the end to find Deoxys.

Deoxys in his Attack Form is very difficult. It teleports if you don't loop it and if you do loop it then it will attack your Styler very quickly. It does stop moving after each attack though. If you can retract(don't lift) your Styler in time to dodge one attack then you should be able to capture it before it attacks again. If you think you can't dodge then charge your Partner Gauge to at least 4 and use Minun/Plusle but you will have to charge it again while you are trying to capture Deoxys in its Defense Form.
After you capture Deoxys, it breaks free and transforms into its Defense Form and then it runs off again.
You get a message from Spenser saying that Deoxys can only be captured in its Normal Form per say Prof. Hastings as you cant connect with it emotionally.
After this message, head up into the next area. Continue right and at the fork go up. Deoxys is at there end so walk up to it and start the capture.

Deoxys's Defense Form is a lot easier than its Attack Form. It's attack is a black ball and it also moves slower. This makes it easier to charge your Partner Gauge to 4 or 5 for the very last capture of Deoxys. It also puts a shield up for a few seconds when you loop it to stop the counter from going down.
Once you complete the capture on Deoxys's Defense Form, it will transform into its Speed Form Solana/Lunick thinks that it's less aggressive now.
Go up into the next area. Take the path to the left all the to the end and go into the next area. Go left and you will see Deoxys again.

Deoxys's Speed Form is obviously quick but it only requires 3 loops. It shoots out 3 rings in a cone area then it stops shortly. You should quickly loop it while it's stopped as it's just enough time to capture it before it moves again.
After you capture Deoxys's Speed Form, it will finally transform into its Normal Form and cross over the water. Solana/Lunick thinks Deoxys has finally felt your emotions and it wants to capture it.
Turn around and go down into the next area. Go left then go up into the doorway next to the Save Machine. Continue going up and you will find Deoxys again.

Deoxys's Normal Form is the most complex capture out of all the forms. It starts the battle by transforming randomly into another form. To get it back into its Normal Form you must capture it in its current form first like before. The transformation happens in a small purple circle around it. It's Normal Form also has an attack that covers the whole screen. The quickest way to capture it in its Normal Form is to use Minun/Plusle right after it gets inside its transformation circle to change back into its Normal Form. This gives Minun/Plusle time to walk out and use Discharge as soon as Deoxys comes out of the transformation circle.
After Deoxys is captured, Solana/Lunick says that it finally understands your emotions and that it is grateful for you. You then release it and head back to the Ranger Base to report to Spenser.
After telling Spensper that you calmed down the Deoxys, he admits that everything happened because of him just wanting to capture the Deoxys which made it feel threatened and it became aggressive. He apologizes and thanks you for completing the mission for him.
