Invitation letter from Spenser at beginning of the game
Ringtown Ranger Leader Spenser has invited the player to Fall City to meet up with him and see their potential as a Pokémon Ranger!
After meeting him, the player will hear a scuffle between a Houndoom and a Minun or Plusle, based on the player's gender. Spenser shows the player how to use the Capture Styler to capture the Minun or Plusle. After, they head to the Ranger Base in Ringtown to meet the other Rangers on the team and their adventure begins with missions to complete.
