Boxes[edit]

Microchips: 1

Proceed right, eliminating the spiders you find along the way and jumping over the gaps. If you fall into the void you will immediately lose a life, so be careful. Above the third hanging chest you will find a Flamethrower, which you can reach by climbing up the wall on the right. Continue forward, jumping onto the hanging crates. Be careful though, because some are patrolled by spiders. Try to eliminate them from a distance first. Under a large chest are Mech Mines. A little further on, you will encounter a new enemy, a bat, which floats and drops bombs. The ideal weapon to eliminate it is missiles, but you should use at least one weapon with a decent range. Immediately after, you have the option to choose between two paths, an upper one and a lower one. It is definitely advisable to choose the lower path, because it will allow you to get a CD piece at the end, while the upper one will not. Then proceed down and shortly after you will find some Missiles, which you can get by climbing on the chest to the right of them. A little further on, there is also another Flamethrower. The path is quite linear. Proceed, carefully jumping from one crate to another, being careful not to fall. You'll encounter a wasp and some spiders patrolling certain crates, so always look ahead before jumping. After a short climb up some square hanging crates, you will have a chance to get the CD piece by jumping to the right. Try to go down to the first chain, so as not to miss it. At this point, you have arrived where the two paths rejoin. Going back to explore the upper path too is quite pointless. Go right and eliminate the wasp. Continue jumping on the hanging crates and a little further on you will reach the microchip. Before taking it, however, go under the crate it is on, to find an extra life.

Conveyors[edit]

Microchips: 1

At the beginning, you can collect some Mines on the right, but don't touch the fan, which is lethal. Then go left and go down the spiral path, collecting the DNA strands. You will land on a long conveyor belt, with many DNA strands around it. To collect the ones below, you have reach the bottom side and spin a web. Proceed right, jumping from one conveyor belt to another and killing the wasp you come across. There is a Flamethrower under a short flat conveyor belt, you can get it as described above. You then have to climb up some inclined conveyor belts. Kill the wasp at the top and continue right. You have to pass under a press that goes up and down in good time, avoiding getting crushed. Then there is another spiral descent, like the one at the beginning of the level, which will lead you to other conveyor belts. Carefully jump from one to the other and eliminate another wasp. Immediately afterwards you will have the possibility to choose whether to proceed to the right or climb onto a conveyor belt on the top left. If you need to recover energy, first go right to find a health capsule on a conveyor belt, otherwise go straight up to the left. You will find some very useful Missiles at the end of the conveyor belt. Continue going up, to the right. Some jumps are quite challenging, so be careful. You will find a CD piece between one conveyor belt and another. Drop down into the gap to get it and then return to the same spot. This time continue right, jumping onto more conveyor belts, until you come to a still path. After passing another press you will arrive at the microchip and the end of the level.

Machine Room[edit]

Microchips: 3

Microchip 1
This microchip is very quick to obtain. You start the level on a chest. Don't touch the fan on the left, because it will kill you. Going right, you'll notice a hole in the floor. Enter it, holding onto the left wall. Go down to enter another room. In the top left corner there is a health capsule if you need it. On the right, above a conveyor belt, there is an Electro Beam. Be careful though, because it is very close to an intermittent flame. Better to get it by walking on the ceiling. Then drop to the floor. You will encounter a new enemy here, a rather dangerous rat. In fact, it moves quickly and can even shoot you. Then eliminate it carefully, perhaps using your new weapon. On the left, between a crate and a fan (be careful not to touch it) there is a slightly hidden passage. Enter it and go down the inclined path. Ignore the passage to the left and at the end you will find a pool of lava, with a shield above it. Take the shield to become invulnerable and drop onto the lava. On the right is the microchip. You can also grab some of the DNA strands that are there before picking it up, but make sure you grab the microchip before the shield effect wears off.

Microchip 2
Follow the previous path to the inclined path that leads down to the lava. This time, jump onto the passage on the left. There's another rat here, so be careful. Go under the press avoiding being crushed and a little further on you will find the microchip.

Microchip 3
This is definitely more challenging. Enter the usual hole to the right of the start, taking the health capsule and the Electro Beam if you need them, then drop down to the floor. This time go right. Get on the conveyor belt that goes up to return to the upper room and obtain some DNA strands at the same time. Go left, eliminating the spider, to get more. Then jump onto the table above the hole you came up from, there are more DNA strands. Go right and you will find a long vertical conveyor belt. There is a Boomerang a little above the ground. Use the conveyor belt to go up and jump onto the wall behind it. There is a hole halfway up. Enter it to get an extra life and many DNA strands, but be careful, because they are guarded by a dangerous rat. Then climb up the outside wall again. You will come to a conveyor belt that passes under some intermittent flames. Instead of climbing onto the belt, however, climb onto the duct from which the first flame starts. This way, in addition to taking a much safer path, you will arrive at a suspended platform with many DNA strands and a CD piece. Then drop down to the other side, where you will also find a Smart Bomb. There are also DNA strands among the intermittent flames, but if you don't want to take risks, it's best to ignore them. Continue right. You will have to pass under two presses and then deal with a wasp, which is floating above some crates. Later, after dealing with another rat, you will find the microchip.

Bonus level: Tubes[edit]

Microchips: 3

Microchip 1
This level is set inside pipes. If you want to attack enemies with the boomerang, you have to be careful because the curvature of the tubes prevents you from hitting them with a straight line attack. Go right at the start (the left path is a dead end), jumping over the green pool. You'll come to a fork, with an Electro Beam you can take. By taking the upper path you will come to a circular path, where you can collect many DNA Strands. There are also some spiders on the path, so be careful. Once done, return to the fork and take the path down. However, make sure you proceed upside down, attached to the ceiling. Proceed, paying attention to the spiders, and you will come to a larger section of pipe, with green slime at the bottom. Don't go down, stay on the ceiling and proceed. You can eventually eliminate the wasp below you with the electro beam and take a health capsule by lowering yourself along a spider's web. You will thus arrive at a vertical pipe that rises upwards. Go up it, and along the climb you will find a Poisoner. You will thus arrive at another fork. Go left, taking out the spiders along the way. You will come to another circular tube, like the one described above, with many DNA strands. In the opposite place from where you entered, you will find the microchip.

Microchip 2
Follow the same path you took to reach the previous microchip. The only difference is that at the last fork you have to go right instead of left. Proceed, eliminating the spiders. There is an Electro Beam above a green pool, be careful not to fall into it if you want to get it. You will then come to another larger pipe, with green water at the bottom. To proceed, you must jump from one islet to another. There are some DNA strands and two health capsules on the path, but watch out for the wasp patrolling the area. At the bottom you will find the microchip.

Microchip 3
Follow the path shown for microchip 1 until the pipe widens. This time however, instead of taking the duct that goes up, proceed to the right. Jump from one islet to another, collecting the DNA strands and health capsules and eliminate the wasp. A little further on there is a fork, with a pipe leading down. Ignore it for now and go straight. You will come to another circular tube with many DNA strands. Take them, paying attention to the spider that is there and go back to the fork. This time, drop down. Proceed, paying attention to the spiders and you will find Poisoner above a puddle. Follow the path to the end and you will find the microchip, surrounded by DNA strands and patrolled by a spider that you can easily eliminate.

Boss: Mechanical Arm[edit]

The battlefield is circular. The boss, the mechanical arm, is located in the center and rotates on itself. The key to winning this battle is to be reactive and move at the right time. The boss can attack you in three different ways. It can stop at your position and quickly drop to the ground, trying to crush you. Then move away immediately. After this move, the arm will remain still for a moment: this is the best time to attack it. Other times, the mechanical arm will bend backwards and throw a bomb at you. Avoiding it is pretty easy, just keep moving and jump as it explodes. The boss then has a third attack, which it will start using only after you have taken some of its life energy. It can bend horizontally and spin around the battlefield like the hand of a clock, faster and faster. To avoid this, you simply have to jump at the right time. The best strategy to defeat this boss is to stay still in one place, to induce the mechanical arm to use its first attack. Avoid it and counterattack immediately. Even a simple slash can be fine. Other weapons will obviously make things easier for you. Poisoner and Flamethrower will allow you to extend the range of your attack, but it is not so essential. Much more useful are the Missiles, which reach the target directly, or the Mech Mines, which you can release behind you after avoiding the attack. A Smart Bomb is obviously very useful, it allows you to easily cause heavy damage to the boss. You can also use normal Mines, placing them where the boss will probably attack you. However, the Boomerang, which, moving in a straight line on a circular battlefield, is not very efficient, and the Electro Beam, which runs out too quickly, are not recommended. If you pay attention and act calmly, the battle shouldn't be too difficult.
