You will start the chapter aboard your ship, you will have to give it a name, and then you can free roam in it, talk to anyone you want, and when you're finished, talk to Filo. You will now be able to fly around the world map freely, you can land at designated points, so for now just follow the red dot/yellow flag to The Bosco Pampa.
Mission 2-1 (The Winged - The Bosco Pampa)[edit]
You will now find Chests during battles, most are actually displayed on the map on the top screen (along ressources, useful for crafting later). After this, you'll gain a new ally, and will have a new objective, take your time and gather stuff/defeat enemies instead.
After the battle[edit]
You should now have new boots for Vaan, a new scepter for Kytes and a new armor for Filo, equip them. You can either return to the ship to see new conversations (and the logbook) or continue towards Fane of Gucuma Qul.
Free Battle: The Bosco Pampa[edit]
In general, each location offers a Free Battle, available when the mission it hosts is completed. When every monster is defeated, the Battle is complete.
Mission 2-2 (Auracite and the Yarhi - Fane of Gucuma Qul)[edit]
You will face in this mission Leaders capable of summoning espers, again this is not too difficult, just take your time and grab the chests.
After the battle[edit]
You will obtain the Ring of Pacts and will be able to obtain new summons from now on. I would advise to at least unlock the White Rabbit and to add them to your set. New dialogues/log entries are available in the Galbana. When you're done, return to the Fane of Gucuma Qul.
Mission 2-3 (Reinforcements - Way to the Auracite)[edit]
At the end of this mission will be a "Boss Fight", again, nothing hard, just attack with everyone and use Llyud's ability if someone passes out.
After the battle[edit]
You'll gain a new "ally". New dialogues/log entries are available in the Galbana.
He won't stay for long, so don't bother using him in battle
