Puzzle 1-1

Puzzle 1-1

Moves required: 1

Naturally the beginning puzzles are simple. They serve more as an introduction to how this mode works. For this puzzle, simply remember that panels must be connected to disappear, and you only have 1 move to do it in.

Solution
  1. Switch the left-most red panel with the empty space to the right of it.

Puzzle 1-2

Puzzle 1-2

Moves required: 1

Remember that you have to get rid of all of the panels. If you connect 3, there will be 1 left over, so you have to get all 4 to connect at the same time.

Solution
  1. Move either of the 2 stacked blue panels to the right. The upper panel will drop into place.

Puzzle 1-3

Puzzle 1-3

Moves required: 1

This shows a common way you may achieve a 6 combo in the other modes. There are two sets of panels now, but still only one move, so they must be cleared at the same time.

Solution
  1. Switch the top pair of panels.

Puzzle 1-4

Puzzle 1-4

Moves required: 1

This 10-panel combo you may also run into regularly in the other modes. You may notice similarities with the previous puzzle. Keep this puzzle in mind for another in the near future.

Solution
  1. Switch the middle pair of panels.

Puzzle 1-5

Puzzle 1-5

Moves required: 1

This puzzle introduces a chain and how it works. Keep in mind that sometimes all you need is for one set of panels to clear, which can then set up other panels to clear.

Solution
  1. Move the right-most blue panel to the left. After clearing, the upper green panel will fall to match with the other green panels.

Puzzle 1-6

Puzzle 1-6

Moves required: 1

This horizontal 6 combo does not appear very frequently, but if you ever want to clear a whole row at once, this is the only possible final move (without using a chain) that can do it.

Solution
  1. Switch the middle two panels.

Puzzle 1-7

Puzzle 1-7

Moves required: 1

There are a couple ways to match the red panels here, but only one way to match the blue panels in only one move.

Solution
  1. Move the top blue panel to the left so that it drops and matches.

Puzzle 1-8

Puzzle 1-8

Moves required: 1

Another version of the 6 combo, with a vertical and a horizontal match.

Solution
  1. Switch the bottom yellow and right purple panels with each other.

Puzzle 1-9

Puzzle 1-9

Moves required: 1

There are not enough moves to match the blue panels vertically, so instead, concentrate on the green panels.

Solution
  1. Move either of the 2 stacked green panels to the left. The green will clear and then the blue will match for a chain.

Puzzle 1-10

Puzzle 1-10

Moves required: 3

This puzzle teaches a very important lesson for the other modes. This situation is easily created, and if you know the solution, you can clear all 10 panels quickly in a game. Do you remember puzzle 1-4?

Solution

The first two moves can be done in either order. The important point is that the last move must be last.

  1. Switch the top pair of panels.
  2. Switch the bottom pair of panels.
  3. Switch the middle pair of panels.
