You will find yourself at the Foyer once again, as you always will when you enter the mansion. Hopefully you will have been trained how to catch ghosts by the professor named E. Gadd, otherwise, you won’t survive in the mansion for long. Walk up to the double doors as you did earlier, and this time, it should be unlocked. When you enter the Parlor(the room your entering with the double doors) You will notice 6 candles lit and some coins laying around. Pick up the coins, and blow out the candles with your vacuum. You will go through a cut-scene of the portraits telling you various things, and then after the last dialog is spoken, a ghost appears. You will notice the doors now have spikes over them, preventing you from escaping. Don’t touch them. Suck up all the ghosts as they appear, and the lights will come on. Open the chest, and you will get a key to go to the next room. When you enter the next room, the doors will immediately get spikes on them preventing escape. Suck up the ghosts, again, as they appear, and the lights turn on. Walk over to the next room and suck up all the ghost that appear. Suck up one more of them that is hiding in one of the wardrobes. Suck it up. The lights will come on, and you will find a key at the top of where all the clothes are hanging next to the third wardrobe to the right. Get the key and walk all the way back to the Foyer, and when exiting the double doors, go to the left this time. When you get within a close proximity of the door, E. Gadd will contact you on your Game Boy Horror. He will tell you about Portrait Ghosts, Which are ghosts that were freed from the gallery, and don’t show their hearts as easily. As soon as you enter the hall, DON’T follow the trail of coins. You can suck them up if you want to, but the trail that leads to the door is a fake door, which takes away from your health if you open them. However, there are many ways to detect if the door is fake, and you will use this if you want to have a better way to choose the right door.

#Turn your vacuum on at the door you plan to enter, if the door vibrates, it’s real, if not, it’s fake.
#Stand in front of the door you plan to enter. View the map on your GB horror by pressing {{gc|Y}}. If there is no door on the map in front of the door your standing at, it’s fake.

Anyway, back to the walkthrough. Choose the first door in the hall on the left, and go in it. To catch the portrait ghost, Neville, turn your flashlight away from him and wait until he yawns. When he yawns, turn your flashlight on him and start sucking, HARD! When you finally suck him up, the lights will come on, and a chest will appear. Open it up and take the key, exit the room, and walk all the way to the end of the hall, and enter the door on the left. To suck up this portrait ghost, go over to the right curtain in the room and pull it open by moving right with your vacuum on. She will soon walk over to close the curtain, and the instant she leaves the mirror, fire up that vacuum, and suck until she has no more health left. The light will come on, and then you will collect the key to go to the boss’s room. When you exit the room, key in hand, you will watch a cut-scene, zooming in on the boss’s room’s door. To get to the room, walk down the hall until you come to the first door on the right. Enter the room, and you will notice the rocking horse over in the lower left corner with coins around it. Walk over the coins, and after you have collected them, turn your vacuum on and point it toward the rocking horse. It should rock back and forth and the baby ghost, Chaunecy, should come out of his crib. He will throw his teddy bears at you, suck them up, and then he will start to chase you. Take your vacuum and suck up the ball, then when Chaunecy comes after you, let go of R, and it will hurt  him. He will then tell Luigi he hates him, and then it will take you to his crib boss battle room, were you will watch a short cut-scene, and then the battle will start. When he guides his rocking horses to hit you, the immediate second after he launches them, run out of the way. He will continue doing this until he decides to launch the balls. When he launches the balls, one or two may land on the bed. Suck up one and aim it at him using *{{gc|Neutral|Cstick}} and shoot it using {{gc|R}} It will knock him out, and then you start sucking your vacuum at him. He will lose health. If you can’t suck him up in one try, repeat these steps as many times as you need. Once you suck him up, a victory scene will play and you will be returned to the now lit nursery. Open the chest, and take the key, a short musical theme will play and you will be contacted by E. Gadd on the GB horror. He will take you to his lab, and he will show you how the Ghost Portraitfacationizer works. After watching how it works, you will be taken through a series of screens showing how much money you have, and how may portrait ghosts you’ve captured.
