Green shell
The green shell is projection weapon that shoots from the front of the kart.
Red shell
Similar to the green shell except it is homing.
Star
Grants the player temporary invincibility.
Banana Peel
Drops a banana peel for opponents to slip on.
Mushroom
Temporarily grants the player super speed.
Feather
Allows the player to jump in a 360 degree spin. Very good for jumping walls to make shortcuts, and also for jumping red shells.
Coins
Gives the player a few coins.
Lightning
Shrinks all the other opponents. When shrunk, the enemy moves slower and can be run over.
