The world of Ace Combat - Strangereal - is described in fuller detail in its dedicated page. The game, however, begins four years after the planetfall of the Ulysses 1994XF04 asteroids. The asteroid wreaks devastation across Strangereal, disrupting the political standing of several countries, including one known as Erusia. With the assistance of its anti-asteroid turned anti-aircraft weapon, Stonehenge, the Erusians have pushed the Independent States Allied Forces - also known as ISAF - from the mainland to a small island known as North Point. It's up to you - the elite fighter ace known as Mobius 1 - to push back the Erusians and create a legend.
