In Re-Tail you can buy or sell things. You can sell things to Reese. There's also another person named Cyrus, but when you first start the game he's asleep. It takes a long time before he wakes up. You can also put stuff up for sale in the flea market space, where everyone in your town can buy what you put up for sale. Even friends from other towns can buy them. You can set your own prices and sometimes get the best price for it.
