After being sucked through the wormhole in opening to Jak II, Daxter finds himself stranded in the future and no way to rescue his friend Jak. While searching for Jak, aman named Osmo convinces Daxter to take employment as a metal-bug exterminator for the Kridder Ridder Extermination Company.
