When you arrive to Angel Falls, a cutscene plays of Ivor and Hugo talking about the inscription on the guardian statue changing. As a Celestial, you can not directly talk to the people; you can only listen to their thoughts.

To the left is a stable where a man is sleeping instead of cleaning. Pick up the five horse manure. Afterwards he will wake up in panic but find the stable clean. Believing it to be the work of the Guardian, he will offer up a crystal of benevolessence.

Inside the church there is an old woman who lost her husband's ring. Go outside and talk to the dog by the shop. It will lead you to the ring. Return to the old woman to give her the ring. She will give you a benevolessence.

When you exit the church it be night time. Aquila will greet you in the center. He will tell you to not just help the living but also the wandering souls. To the right is a wandering soul who doesn't realize he died until he talks to you. Tell him the truth to get another benevolessence. Aquila will talk to you and have you return to the Observatory.

When you return, go to Yggdrasil to find Aquila and Apus Major. Offer the benevolessence to Yggdrasil and fyggs will bloom. The Starflight Express arrives but the observatory is suddenly attacked. The train is destroyed, the fyggs are spread across the land, and you fall to the surface losing your wings and halo. You wake up and find yourself back in Angel Falls, but now the people can see you.

Your vocation is now a minstrel. Go the mayor's house to the far left. The mayor and Ivor are having a conversation. Then go to Erinn's house to the right to have dinner and rest. The next day go downstairs and talk to Ivor. He tells you that there is a landslide blocking the pass that needs to be cleared and he joins your party. Go to the town entrance and talk to Hugo.

Follow the trail east until you get to the mountain pass. You can see a train, but Ivor cannot. To the right is a red chest (Gold ring). Go left and talk to Ivor. There are soldiers on the other side of the landslide who tell you that Patty was on her way to the Angel Falls and have not heard from her. Return to Angel Falls and go to the mayor's house. Erinn takes you back and is worried about Patty.
