Joy Mech Fight is a fighting game released by Nintendo in May 21, 1993 for NES (Famicom) only on Japan. The game features Rayman-like robots (that make more animation frames than other 8-bit fighting games) who are fighting themselves in a deadly battle in various stages. Sukapon, the main robot of the game was famed in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Story

The game's story centers on two scientists named Dr. Little Ermin and Dr. Ivan Warner.

The two spend their time building robots until, one day, Dr. Warner suddenly absconds with several of them and announces his intentions to take over the world. In response, Dr. Ermin dusts off the comedian robot Skapon and reprograms him for battle, thus kicking off the events of the game.
