Template:All Game Nav There are three types of battles in Jump Ultimate Stars, each of which have their own victory conditions.

Point Battle (ポイント)

The person with the most points at the end of the battle wins. All players start with a score of zero points.

  • When you KO an enemy character, you gain 1 point. Your opponent loses a point.
  • When you KO an enemy character with your team's leader, you gain 2 points. Your opponent loses 2 points.
  • When you KO your enemy's team leader, you gain 2 points. Your opponent loses two points.
  • If all of a players' battle characters are KO'd, they will be revived at the cost of 2 points.

Deathmatch (デスマッチ)

This is your typical survival mode. The one who's left after everyone is KOed wins.

J-Symbol (Jシンボル)

The person with the most stars at the end of the battle wins.

  • Everyone stars with one star.
  • After a few seconds, a star appears in the arena, making the total number of stars one star higher than the number of players.
  • If a player is KO'd, they drop their star.
  • If all of a player's battle characters are KO'd, they drop all of their stars.
  • If a star falls out of the stage (or if the player holding the star is killed by ringout) the star will respawn on the map a few second later.
  • The game will automatically end if one player possesses all of the stars

Sudden Death

If there is a tie in any of these modes, players will be thrown into sudden death mode. In this mode, players are forced to use their leader characters only. You begin with no special gauge. And the stage is reduced to a single platform. Last one left standing wins.
