Life-ups are hidden items that you can find that can incerase the maximum health you can have by 4 bars. there are four of each, and like subtanks, they are very rare and scattered throughout the game, so sharp eyes are needed to find them. The powerup is like blue bubble with tiny rotating heart icon in the center.
