Monster Hunter Generations, known as Monster Hunter X (モンスターハンタークロス Monsutā Hantā Kurosu?) in Japan, is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released in Japan on November 28, 2015, in North America and Europe on July 15, 2016, and in Australia on July 16, 2016.

An upgraded version of the game titled Monster Hunter XX: Double Cross was released in Japan in 2017. This version was later ported to the Nintendo Switch. The Switch port was later released internationally under the title Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
