After the biggest success of Mortal Kombat 4, Eurocom with Midway released a "remake" of the game on the Dreamcast... but with very mixed results.
The game included the return of characters that appeared with their clothing of Mortal Kombat 3, Cyrax, Mileena, Kitana, Kung Lao, and Baraka with new stages. The game was criticized as bad because they didn't like the graphics of the game very well, also, one aspect that makes the game very bad is that the analogic didn't work the game, only the D-Pad worked, but everyone criticized it as unresponsive execute special moves and fatalities. Mileena and Kitana also use incorrect sounds. Also, this game is based on the PlayStation version of MK4.
