It is worth noting that this game is the most generic asian MMO posible. It features a loooong boring grind, a completely unbalanced pvp system, a non existant market system (players simply make AFK shops a la ragnarok online that crowd the cities). Despite these, the combat system is fairly fun, though completely number based, there isnt any twitch skill required. The graphics are acceptable, the combat animations are good, although limited.
The quest system is VAGUE, so incredibly vauge that I think they made it that way on purpose. An example is that every level a new quest NPC becomes available to you, it tells you once in a box that pops up...just once, you cant see who it was if you missed it, and even if you look, it doesnt tell you WHERE they are clearly. So write it down, and ask someone.
They recently upgraded the servers and it is relatively lag free, even in "jammed" condition.

Silkroad online is a Korean MMORPG currently in open alpha. Players start in China and gain skills and fight enemies based on mythology from China, other asian countries, the middle east, and Europe. At level 20, players can become merchants, hunters or thieves (merchants trade along the silk road for money, thieves try to kill them and take their money, hunters kill the thieves).

The game has a wide and constantly growing player base and new servers are in high demand in the English-speaking community, due to the overabundance of players.
