When you first turn the game on select a server (currently Xian is the most populated and Hercules is the least). Some of the time if most of the servers, or the one you are trying to log into, are crowded then the game might kick you off, THIS IS NOT A BUG, just restart the game and try again. Once you log in click create on the bottom of the screen. Once in character creation think about how your character is going to be, such as whether they will be physical, magical, or balanced. Also the weapons they use or the armor they wear:

  • Swords are magical, can be used with sheilds.
  • Blades are physical, can be used with sheilds.
  • Spears have stronger magical power than swords but are 2 handed and slower.
  • Glavies have stronger physical power than blades but are 2 handed and slower.
  • Bows have balanced stats but slightly stronger magical attack, they are 2 handed but average speed.
  • Armor has high physical but low magical defence.
  • Garment has high magical but low physical defence. When a full set is worn speed is increased by 20% and magic cost is reduced by 20%.
  • Protecter has average magical and physical defences. When a full set is worn speed is increased by 10% and magic cost is reduced by 10%.

These are the common made characters:

  • Physical characters use either blades or glavies and usually use protecter or armor.
  • Magical characters use either swords or spears and usually wear garments or protecter.
  • Balanced characters use bows and usually wear garments or protecter.

Once the character is made you will spawn in a city called Jangan, this is going to be the main city in the game, use your mini-map and find the west gate there you will see an npc called general Sohnyeon. Talk to Sohnyeon he will give you the tutorial and teach you about the game.
