PC Cheats

These cheats are for the PC version of Spore, MAC users have different cheats. I have no idea if MAC can use PC cheats and vice-versa, perhaps someone could clarify this? Please be aware that this game records the cheats you activate and rewards you with a "Joker" badge, which is a bad thing since this can be seen by other players if they view your information.

Cheats

To activate these cheats press: Ctrl+Shift+C to open the console screen. Then type the following commands:

StyleFilter -nextgen	Adds more bloom.
capturePlanetGIF	Captures a spinning GIF of the planet you are on and dumps to AnimatedAvatars directory.
setConsequenceTrait (trait)	Sets your trait to either of the following: cell_carnivore, cell_herbivore, cell_omnivore, creature_aggressive, creature_social, creature_mixed, tribe_aggressive, tribe_social, tribe_mixed, civ_
stylefilter -none	Changes your view back to normal.
Des	Console Commands
stylefilter -norainbows	Different colours.
stylefilter -nextgen	Different colours
Prop	Displays modified properties
evoadvantage	Enter this cheat while starting a new game to start with one of your more evolved creatures
stylefilter -microscope	Changes your view, making it as though you are looking through a microscope
help (command)	Explains action and usage of a command.
styleFilter -oilPaint	Gives the game an oil painting effect
addDNA	Increase how much DNA you have to spend.
moreMoney	Increases your money in Civilization (2000) or Space (1,000,000) stages.
freedom	No complexity limit in any of the creators. Be wary of using this one, anything over the complexity limit cannot be used by others.
help	Lists all cheats and debug commands.

Movie	Movie Cheat
Quit	Quit game
levels -unlock	On the Spore main menu, allows you to unlock every stage for new games, even if you haven't completed their prerequisite stages.
universeSimulatorPirateRaidPlunderFrequency #	Rate that pirates will steal spice from your systems.
universeSimulatorPirateRaidAllyFrequency #	Rate that pirates will raid ally your systems.
universeSimulatorPirateRaidFrequency #	Rate that pirates will raid your systems.
refillMotives	Replenishes depleted health and other motives (hunger, fuel ect).
killallhints	Removes all hints from the game.
SetTime (h, m)	Sets time of day at the Avatar's position, and optionally a speed multiplier.
freeCam	Toggles free camera mode.
blocksmode	Turns creatures into their blocky representations
unlockSuperWeapons	Unlocks all superweapons for your Civilization type.
spaceCreate	Unlocks and recharges all creation tools in Space Mode.
styleFilter -filmNoir	View game in black & white

MAC Cheats

Cheats To activate these cheats press: Command Shift+C to open the console screen. Then type the following commands:

moremoney	Adds 2000 Spacebucks in Civilization stage; 1,000,000 in Space.
rename star (New Name Here)	Changes a stars name.
rename planet (New Name Here)	Changes a planets name.
spacecreate	Gives you certain Social Tools.
addDNA	Gives you more DNA.

DS and WII

Currently, the DS and Wii versions have no cheats that I am aware of. If you have discovered one then please feel free to add it here.
