Takeshi no Chousenjou/Walkthrough

This Walkthrough is designed to help players who can't read Japanese get through the game in the least number of steps. It does not go into great detail about every option available to you in every section of the game, as there is just too much to translate.

Note: Part of the requirements to complete the game is to divorce your wife. When you do, you lose 75% of the money that you are currently carrying. The first few steps of the walkthrough are designed to help you divorce your wife when you are completely broke, so that you won't lose any money in the process.

1. Go to bank, close out account.
   • Walk out of the office where you start (to the right). Walk to the right to the end of the block and enter the last building which is the bank.
   • Talk to last lady, and choose top option (はい, yes) to close out your account and get $50,000.
2. Go to BG Culture Club.
   • From the bank, walk to the left, past your office, and enter the building to the left with the "BG" on the sign.
   • Learn Samisen: Choose third option (おんがく, music), choose fourth option (しゃみせん, samisen), agree to pay $45,000 (top option, ああ いいよ)
3. Go to right block gate, go to karaoke bar. Buy five drinks, pass out and end up at home.
4. End up in home, walk until dialog, choose last (5th) option for divorce. Choose top option to pay money.
5. Walk to end up block to return to work.
6. Enter office, talk to boss, collect salary $20,000. Leave and return and resign from job (1st option), collect $50,000 severance. Kneel down at potted plant on the way out to collect $10,000 nest egg.
7. Go back to BG Culture Club, learn Hang Gliding (2nd option, 2nd option), and learn Hintoba language (1st option, 4th option).
8. Go to left block gate, walk to travel center, purchase ticket to South Pacific. 3rd Option
9. Go to pachinko parlor, sit at machine, waste balls and shout when the last ball leaves. Yakuza will attack. Defeat first three. Then fourth will appear and give you 5000 balls. Trade balls in for Samisen (4000 balls).
10. Return to the karaoke bar, buy two drinks, then choose to sing karaoke. Sing same song three times to audience's satisfaction. Then choose quarrel. Remove the women, then beat up some Yakuza men until you get the map.
11. Choose third option to "attach without seeing", wait at least 5 minutes, but not more than 10, and then use microphone to make map appear. Then beat up old man who gave you the map.
12. Go left to Gold Bar and by Tequilla for 8000 if you need extra health. Then return to the Bank. Walk to the right side of the bank and push up. Keep walking all the way to the right until you are flying on an airplane.
13. When you arrive, walk left, out of the airport, and to the bank to exchange your money (1st option)
14. Stay at the hotel (1st option) to recover physical strength (5000). Keep staying until strength is at 127.
15. Enter Miyage, buy embroidery (1st option, 3000).
16. Enter Equipment, buy Canteen (2nd option) and Gun (3rd option). (Set gun to attack, 4th option, on the subscreen.
17. Enter Resort Center, select Hang Glider (5th option).
18. Land carefully on the fourth island.
19. Go to last hut before jungle. Enter it, say anything, get thrown in pot. Then play Samisen (2nd option) to be released, and told to visit hermit.
20. Walk right through jungle all the way to hut on top of a hill. Choose give present (4th option), and then canteen (5th option).
21. Walk back to the chief's hut, choose give present (2nd option), and then embroidery (3rd option), to get special item handed down from generation to generation: a stone. (You can set stone to attack.)
22. Return to the right, and jump up to the top of the large hill. Squat down slightly to the right of the left small stone.
23. Navigate through all four floors of the cave to find the treasure on the bottom floor.
