Congratulations on making it to the extra puzzles! How can you tell? Well not much indicates it, but the background of the puzzle selection screen will be a dark blue. That's it, except for obviously the puzzles themselves being different.

Remember, the bottom row is r1 and the left column is c1.

Puzzle E1-1[edit]

Puzzle E1-1

Moves required: 3

This one's got two solutions, and both are the type where everything clears when it's on the ground.

Solution

Solution 1 (move 1 can happen anytime):

  1. Move the bottom left green to the left. (r1,c12)
  2. Move the right green to the right. (r1,c56)
  3. Switch the right red to the left. (r1,c45)

Solution 2 (again, move 1 can happen anytime):

  1. Move the bottom left green to the left. (r1,c12)
  2. Switch the right red with its green neighbor. (r2,c45)
  3. Move either of the right greens to the right. (r1,c56) or (r2,c56)

Puzzle E1-2[edit]

Puzzle E1-2

Moves required: 2

There's really not a whole lot of options for purple in only 2 moves.

Solution

In either order,

  1. Move the bottom of the right purples to the right. (r2,c45)
  2. In the column with 3 dark blues, move the middle one to the left. (r4,c23)

Puzzle E1-3[edit]

Puzzle E1-3

Moves required: 2

Ooh, I know this one, right? No, that's not it. You don't have to clear 6 panels in one chunk.

Solution
  1. In the column with 4 light blues, move either of the middle ones to the left. (r3,c34) or (r4,c34)
  2. Switch the right red to the left. (r2,c34)

Puzzle E1-4[edit]

Puzzle E1-4

Moves required: 2

The greens do not stay vertical.

Solution

In either order,

  1. Switch the bottom green to the left. (r1,c34)
  2. Move the middle green to the right. (r3,c45)

Puzzle E1-5[edit]

Puzzle E1-5

Moves required: 2

If you got close, then maybe try starting off the clears on a different color.

Solution
  1. Move the right blue to the right. (r1,c56)
  2. Switch the bottom right purple to the left. (r1,c45)

Puzzle E1-6[edit]

Puzzle E1-6

Moves required: 3

Good old column thinking still helps a lot. Start with the color that needs the most help!

Solution

In any order,

  1. Switch the left yellow to the right. (r1,c23)
  2. Switch the bottom right yellow to the left. (r1,c45)
  3. Switch the middle blue to the right. (r2,c45)

Puzzle E1-7[edit]

Puzzle E1-7

Moves required: 2

Pick the final setup for the purples correctly, and it becomes a cinch.

Solution

In either order,

  1. Switch the bottom red to the right. (r1,c34)
  2. Move the middle red to the left. (r3,c23)

Puzzle E1-8[edit]

Puzzle E1-8

Moves required: 2

Symmetry is not always a good thing.

Solution

Reversing this only works if you make move 1 before the first set finishes clearing.

  1. Switch the top red to the right. (r6,c34)
  2. Switch the blue in the middle column to the right. (r3,c34)

Puzzle E1-9[edit]

Puzzle E1-9

Moves required: 3

So many purples! If you don't come up with the right setup, maybe concentrate on an easier color.

Solution

Solution 1, the first two moves are reversible (you will have to use the row 2 blue for move 1). Holding off on move 2 until after move 3 is actually possible if you're pretty quick, due to purple having to clear 6 while green only has to clear 3:

  1. Switch either of the bottom 2 blues with the empty space to its left. (r1,c12) or (r2,c12)
  2. Switch the bottom green with its blue neighbor. (r1,c23)
  3. Switch the top green panel to the left. (r3,c23)

Solution 2:

  1. Move either of the bottom 2 blues to the left. (r1,c12) or (r2,c12)
  2. Switch the middle green to the right. (r2,c23)
  3. After things are done clearing, switch the blue and purple tiles. (r1,c23)

Solution 3:

  1. Switch the top blue with its purple neighbor. (r5,c23)
  2. Move either of the bottom 2 blues to the left. (r1,c12) or (r2,c12)
  3. Switch the middle green to the right. (r2,c23)

Puzzle E1-10[edit]

Puzzle E1-10

Moves required: 2

Do you see a similarity between this and 3 puzzles ago?

Solution

Reversible:

  1. Switch the bottom right green to the left. (r1,c45)
  2. Move the bottom blue in the right column to the right. (r3,c56)

Puzzle E2-1[edit]

Puzzle E2-1

Moves required: 3

But then sometimes symmetry is a good thing. This puzzle's a little bit like a more complicated Puzzle 3-7. Or you could be sneaky and go an entirely different direction with the solution.

Solution

Normal solution (last two moves may be switched):

  1. Take either of the upper two blues and move it left. (r6,c34) or (r8,c34)
  2. Take one of the two purples that used to have that blue in between them and move it left. (r5,c34) or (r6,c34) if you took the middle blue, (r7,c34) or (r8,c34) if you took the top
  3. Switch what is now the left blue to the right. (r4,c34)

Tricky solution:

  1. Move the green in the center column to the left. (r4,c34)
  2. Switch the middle blue with its purple neighbor. (r5,c45)
  3. Just after the purple match has cleared, switch that same blue panel back to the left before the falling panels have passed. See skill chains and timing for details. (r5,c45)

Puzzle E2-2[edit]

Puzzle E2-2

Moves required: 3

Some colors look pretty good already, so you can leave them untouched. And what may be your first instinct for what to do may not be too far off actually.

Solution

You can switch the first two moves.

  1. Take the top yellow and switch it right. (r2,c34)
  2. Switch the left red to the right... (r1,c23)
  3. Twice. (r1,c34)

Puzzle E2-3[edit]

Puzzle E2-3

Moves required: 3

Layer-wise, these solutions are going to feel like they won't work. Columns will get you there however!

Solution

There are basically 3 different solutions, though they are all similar. Solution 1 can be done in any order, though if you do move 1 last, you need to switch it before the dark blues finish clearing:

  1. Switch the top yellow with its left neighbor. (r5,c23)
  2. Switch the bottom dark blue to the left. (r1,c34)
  3. Switch the middle dark blue to the left. (r2,c34)

Solution 2 can have move 1 in the middle, or at the end if you do so before the purples finish clearing:

  1. Switch the top yellow with its left neighbor. (r5,c23)
  2. Switch the top dark blue to the right. (r3,c34)
  3. After they finish clearing, switch the purple that just fell to the left. (r1,c34)

Solution 3 can have the first two moves switched, and also technically happen in any order, but move 2 has to happen before the dark blues clear and move 1 has to happen before the first set of purples clear:

  1. Switch the top yellow with its left neighbor. (r5,c23)
  2. Switch the middle yellow to the right. (r4,c34)
  3. Switch the top dark blue to the right. (r3,c34)

Puzzle E2-4[edit]

Puzzle E2-4

Moves required: 3

Go ahead and try your first instinct. Then simply adjust as necessary.

Solution

Move 3 could happen earlier, but the other moves must be done by the time the greens clear.

  1. Switch the top purple with its dark blue neighbor. (r4,c23)
  2. Move the bottom purple to the left. (r2,c12)
  3. Make the red L combo. (r3,c34)

Puzzle E2-5[edit]

Puzzle E2-5

Moves required: 3

The obvious is not always wrong.

Solution

Solution 1 (move 3 can happen anytime):

  1. Move the left green to the left. (r1,c12)
  2. Switch the light blue that just fell to the right. (r1,c23)
  3. Slide the top yellow to the right. (r3,c56)

Solution 2 (move 1 can happen in the middle, or at the end as long as the 4 vertical purples match before three horizontal ones do):

  1. Slide the top yellow to the right. (r3,c56)
  2. Switch the top green to the left. (r2,c23)
  3. Move either of the left greens to the left. (r1,c12) or (r2,c12)

Puzzle E2-6[edit]

Puzzle E2-6

Moves required: 1

I don't think they could make the solution stick out any more. Have fun, and welcome to the world of chains so large the game doesn't even keep track!

Solution
  1. Make the reds match. (r9,c34)

Puzzle E2-7[edit]

Puzzle E2-7

Moves required: 3

Count! And think about what needs to happen for the dark blues to match. This puzzle involves making a combo type that is only possible through chains.

Solution
  1. Switch the top green with its neighbor. (r5,c45)
  2. Move either of the right dark blues to the right. (r1,c56) or (r2,c56)
  3. Move the bottom green to the right. (r2,c56)

Puzzle E2-8[edit]

Puzzle E2-8

Moves required: 4

There's not many options when there's 4 tiles of a color, and that happens 3 times here! Columns and layers both apply here.

Solution

Move 3 can happen anytime before move 4. Move 2 can happen after move 4 as long as it happens before the high purple falls.

  1. Switch the left yellow with the purple. (r2,c23)
  2. Slide the bottom red to the left. (r1,c12)
  3. Slide the bottom blue to the right. (r2,c45)
  4. Switch the left yellow to the right.(r2,c34)

Puzzle E2-9[edit]

Puzzle E2-9

Moves required: 3

That chain that looks all nice and pre-setup? Leave some of it be, but don't leave all of it the same.

Solution

Move 3 can happen anytime.

  1. Move the bottom green to the right... (r2,c34)
  2. Twice. (r2,c45)
  3. Move the middle green to the right. (r3,c45)

Puzzle E2-10[edit]

Puzzle E2-10

Moves required: 3

Don't think in layers here. If what you're trying to do isn't working, maybe try starting the clears on a different color.

Solution

The first two moves may be switched.

  1. Slide the right purple to the right. (r1,c56)
  2. Move the left purple to the right... (r1,c34)
  3. Twice. (r1,c45)
