The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Spider-Man 2 in the US) is title of a Game Boy video game released by LJN in 1992, programmed by Bits Studio. While the game was a sequel to the 1990 video game titled The Amazing Spider-Man, it plays much differently from the first game and was widely panned by video game critics. It is followed by The Amazing Spider-Man 3: Invasion of the Spider-Slayers. The sequel is different than the original game in that along with its action-adventure theme, Spider-Man also has to collect various objects located in each level in order to solve puzzles.

The game's story involves a collection of supervillains (Hobgoblin, Lizard, Graviton, Carnage, and Mysterio) who have framed Spider-Man for a bank robbery. He must survive several side-scrolling levels, battling various thugs and supervillains in order to clear his name.
