Lineage III (Korean: 리니지 III) is a sequel to Lineage II by NCsoft. The Lineage III project began January 1, 2008 and will be announced to the public in 2011.
Lineage III was originally anticipated to use the Unreal Engine 3, but an NCsoft representative has since stated that NCsoft will instead develop an entirely new proprietary engine.
