I know it's some shameless self-publicity, but could my [[:Image:css_cs_office_overview_general.png]] image be used as a screenshot of the day? I've just worked for quite a while to make it, and there isn't a screenshot of the day on the main page at the moment anyway. --[[User:DrBob|DrBob]] 14:37, 22 May 2006 (PDT)

Since people have to register in order to edit pages, the introduction text of <blockquote>"The guides here can be edited by anyone, so feel free to jump in and improve something!"</blockquote> seems a bit misleading. Perhaps the words "jump in and improve something" can be linked to the register page? --[[User:Blendmaster|blendmaster]] 13:19, 3 July 2007 (CDT)

Ok, I've modified the DPL to show 10 ''random'' pages from the top 50 pages in Completion Stage 2 or above (aka not 1 or 0). This will bring them to popular guides that some people may find that they could improve upon. --{{User:Ryan Schmidt/sig}} 10:27, 11 August 2007 (CDT)

::Yes, there is, but there is no way to only make the guide itself show then. Besides, if you want all the edits, just use [[Special:Recentchanges]]. Most casual visitors won't care about sub-pages, anyway, which is why they aren't there. --{{User:Ryan Schmidt/sig}} 12:12, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

::I have to express vocal concerns over a proposed merger.  The staff at ABXY has a lower maturity level than the sysops and bureaucrats here by a long shot, and by merging the two, these same staff members would have all of the privileges of a sysop, if not close to it.  Those in #strategywiki can undoubtedly understand my reason for my concerns.  --[[User:Tathar|Tathar]] [[Image:Tathar.jpg|32px]] ([[User talk:Tathar|talk]]<nowiki>|</nowiki>[[Special:Contributions/Tathar|contribs]]) 21:40, 31 March 2008 (CDT)

What are some way that are planned to connect the two? Lately ABXY has been dying, but one of the admin (Teddy) has recently returned and has been working on it a lot. He wants to connect the two eventually, but you guys are going to need to work together, which you probably know.

== Most Wanted ==
Why Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3: Uprising is on the most wanted list? What that page do to get on that list?([[User:Noryb989|Noryb989]] 20:20, 21 April 2009 (UTC))
:I'm actually kind of curious as to the nature of how the Most Wanted list is chosen as well. There are some odd choices on there, I'd expect something more like Dante's Inferno or Darksiders to be on there, neither of which even have pages set up. --- [[User:Jepjr|<span style="color:#00611C">Jepjr</span>]][[User talk:Jepjr|<span style="color:#993300">Talk</span>]]

:::It's based on what people look at while on the wiki.  If there's no page for the game, chances are noone will visit the wiki to look at the guide. -- [[User:Prod|Prod]] ([[User talk:Prod|Talk]]) 06:30, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
== Broken link within Projects box ==
I've just noticed that the link to http://forums.strategywiki.org/viewforum.php?f=20 doesn't work in the bottom-right Projects box. Should be http://abxy.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=20 I guess, although usually I think this site links to http://abxy.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=19 so that people can see both the live forum and the archived one. --[[User:Pelago|Pelago]] 20:47, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

== Clickable headers ==
Is it possible to link the various major headers, (and the icons to the left of each of them and the SW_Lightblue_Header.jpg background if possible), to relevant pages? I.e. have the headers link to [[StrategyWiki:Announcements]], [[StrategyWiki:Collaboration_of_the_Month]] and Category:StrategyWiki_projects. (I don't know where Ways You Can Help could link to). Also the Most Popular, Most Wanted and Featured Guides headers? Cheers. --[[User:Pelago|Pelago]] 21:00, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
:What would be the point? Announcements, CotM and featured guides all have links to the main page already. The other ones don't go to pages meant to be viewed – they're either direct transclusions or a category. — [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 21:22, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
== Image links ==
I think we should consider having images on the front page (for items such as featured and collab) link to the guide page instead of the image. Though I know it might not be conventional, I was confused for a moment when I clicked the Pokemon image (thinking I was going to the Pokemon page) and seeing a big Pokemon image instead. [[User:Teddy|Teddy]][[User_talk:Teddy|(talk)]] 03:53, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
:I wouldn't have a problem doing this for just the main page, since many readers are not aware of how wikis work. --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 04:03, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
== Layouts and unused images ==

Rather than delete these, we should just keep them here in case we want to use them again.
