Surround 4 Debuff a group Chanting Surround will cause illusions to appear around the enemies, causing them to attack thin air. L06

Beat 4 Attack one enemy Cristo may attempt to stop the heart of a single enemy in the midst of battle with this spell, but the chances of success are low. L18
Defeat 7 Attack a group Cast Defeat on a large group of enemies in an attempt to instantly kill some of them. The stronger the enemy, the less chance this has of working. L24

Bounce 4 Support caster Bounce will actually reflect the effect of any spell that is cast on the caster back at the opponent. L08
SpeedUp 3 Support All allies Casting Speedup on your party will increase everyone's agility, making it possible for them to strike the enemy before the enemy gets a chance. L14
Bikill 6 Support one ally The spell of Bikill grants a member of your party twice their usual attack power for the duration of one battle. L19
BeDragon 18 Support caster For the remainder of a fight, Mara can transform into a dragon who does nothing but use a powerful flaming breath attack every round. L30
Sap 3 Debuff one enemy Sap will weaken the defense of an enemy, making it possible to do more damage to them with every strike. L03 L03

  • Abilities need no MP;
  • Weapons are noted here if they have some special effect.

Chapters 1 to 4[edit]

  • Healie the Kind Monster:
    • Heal (magic): restores health points to one party member;
    • Parry (ability): temporarily increases its own defense.
  • Strom the Guardsman:
    • (none: cannon fodder.)
  • Laurent the Troubadour:
    • Heal (magic): restores health points to one party member;
    • Firebal (ability): attacks all enemies;
    • Poison Needle (weapon): chance to instantly defeat an enemy.
  • Orin the Alchemist:
    • Lockpick (ability): opens any door without need for a key.

Chapter 5[edit]

  • Hector the Young Man:
    • Build-up (ability): temporarily increases his own strength.
  • Panon the Jester:
    • Sleepmore (magic): chance to put to sleep all enemies;
    • Strange dance (ability): lowers enemy magic points;
    • Sword of Lethargy (weapon): chance to put one enemy to sleep, including bosses.
  • Lucia the Zenithian:
    • Healall (magic): restores health points to one party member;
    • Increase (magic): increases defense of one party member;
    • Defence (magic): lowers defense of enemies;
  • Doran the Baby Dragon:
    • Sweet breath (ability): chance to put to sleep all enemies;
    • Blizzard breath (ability): attacks all enemies.
