Use Fighter's Lift ability to carry the turrets on the outskirts behind the barriers directly surrounding the castle. Then upgrade the turrets as much as possible with the Turret ability. You should also upgrade the surrounding barriers. This should significantly lower the difficulty of the stage as you only have to focus on defending one central point. After this, it is just a matter of maintaining your defences and venturing out to the spawn points when it is safe.

There are three separate areas that can only be entered initial through a warp door. Each area has a chest with a key for the gates. Unlocking each gate will spawn more enemies. The final gate will spawn a crab boss.
