Quarter Back Scramble is a football game from Natsume and Pony Canyon that was released exclusively on the Famicom in late 1989. It features a number of fictional sides loosely based on NFL teams and a horizontal top-down perspective of the field.
Quarter Back Scramble was announced by Accolade for a US release as Mike Ditka's Big Play Football in Q4 1990, but cancelled its release for unknown reasons. The game was first announced in Nintendo Power and was featured in the magazine in software lists for about a year. A prototype of this version exists but has not been publicly released. While a reproduction cart bearing this name was released in 2008, it's based on a different prototype with changes by the people who released it.
