Rue[edit]
Rue (ルウ Rū?) is an amnesiac boy who was taken in by Claire five years ago. Two years later, Claire was killed by the Arm of Death, to which Rue set out on a journey in search of the [relic] in hopes of resurrecting her. Moreover, he wishes to regain his memories of before he met Claire, and possibly uncover his mysterious origins.
Mint[edit]
Mint (ミント Minto?) is a bratty girl once destined for the throne of East Heaven Kingdom, a country far east of Carona. Due to her unbecoming behavior, Mint was banished from the kingdom by her sister Maya and associate Doll Master. Bent on revenge, Mint began hunting down the [relic] with plans of reclaiming the throne and conquering the world.
Supporting cast[edit]
Klaus[edit]
Klaus (クラウス Kurausu?) is the owner of Carona's antique shop with a deep fascination for archeology. He helps Rue and Mint throughout the story.
Mira[edit]
Mira (ミラ Mira?) is Klaus's wife. She is an excellent cook who cares for her adventurous husband, and was once a renowned swordswoman.
Elena[edit]
Elena (エレナ Erena?) is Klaus and Mira's eccentric daughter. She is absentminded at times, often walking straight into the face of danger.
Claire[edit]
Claire (クレア Kurea?) was an affectionate woman who found a wayward Rue, and lived with him in a remote mountainside cabin. Sadly, she died while protecting Rue from the Arm of Death three years ago.
Fancy Mel[edit]
Fancy Mel (ファンシー・メル Fanshī Meru?) is a stubborn yet fashionable sorceress with extraordinary powers. She lives with Poppel Purrels in her atelier, which occupies a realm of her own design. Despite being hundreds of years old, she uses magic to keep her physical appearance youthful.
Rod[edit]
Rod (ロッド Roddo?) is a romantic weaponsmith accompanied by a dog named Johnny Wolf. He began traveling after his father, known as the world's strongest swordsman, died of an illness. His main mode of transport is an aircraft dubbed "pulsar-inferno typhoon omega", a memento of his dearest Lucille. Throughout the game, Rue and Mint can challenge Rod, who uses various types of weapons.
Wylaf[edit]
Wylaf (ウィーラーフ Wīrāfu?) is a 1000-year-old dragon living at the peak of Raging Mountain, and an acquaintance of Fancy Mel. He collects all kinds of ancient artifacts, having once fought a king who tried to steal them.
Prima Doll[edit]
Prima Doll (プリマドール Purimadōru?) is a curious artificial being, also called a doll, crafted by the Aeon Elroy (エルロイ Eruroi?). His purpose is to break the seal containing Valen's Fortress, but can only move when wearing special items.
Antagonists[edit]
Maya[edit]
Maya (マヤ Maya?) is Mint's older sister and the ruler of East Heaven Kingdom. She wields the Book of Cosmos, the kingdom's precious [relic] which contains the soul of the Aeon Atenacius (アタナシウス Atanashiusu?).
Doll Master[edit]
Doll Master (ドールマスター Dōrumasutā?) is a long-time servant of East Heaven and powerful magician who works in Maya's entourage.
Arm of Death[edit]
The Arm of Death (死の右腕 Shi no Migiude?) is a mysterious man who bears a grotesque right arm. Three years ago, he pursued Rue for unknown reasons, killing Claire in the process.
Blood and Smokey[edit]
Blood (ブラッド Buraddo?) and Smokey (スモーキー Sumōkī?) are a couple of trouble-making bandits who seek the [relic].
Belle[edit]
Belle (ベル Beru?) is a treasure hunter looking for the [relic]. She has an affinity for magic and pilots a ship called the Hexagon.
Duke[edit]
Duke (デューク Dyūku?) is Belle's witty partner in crime. He excels in fisticuffs, and has a soft spot for the ladies.
Trap Master[edit]
Trap Master (トラップマスター Torappumasutā?), real name Narcius (ナーシアス Nāshiasu?), is a subordinate of Doll Master. He can transport people to a pocket dimension filled with explosive traps, and is the youngest of the three Master siblings.
Mode Master[edit]
Mode Master (モードマスター Mōdomasutā?), real name Kirielle (キリエル Kirieru?), works under Doll Master. She specializes in disguises, which can easily trick her foes.
Psycho Master[edit]
Psycho Master (サイコマスター Saikomasutā?), real name Karwyn (カーウィン Kāwin?), is a disciple of Doll Master who possesses psychic abilities.
Valen[edit]
Valen (ヴァレン Varen?) was the strongest Aeon who created the Dewprism [relic]. He is believed to have died long ago after the other Aeons conspired together and killed him.
