Drilling[edit]
The main gameplay mechanic is drilling and is used to destroy blocks and defeat enemies. You can drill in the direction the Drill Dozer is facing for a limited amount of time by holding either 
or 
. You can press 
before drilling to change the direction. Additional gears are found in 
gearboxes and allow you to shift up by pressing and holding the same drill button. At 2nd gear, you can drill longer. At 3rd gear, you can keep drilling as long as you don't take damage. A gauge displays when drilling and tells you when you can shift up.
The drill can deflect bullets, but some projectiles like missiles will explode.
While drilling on the ground, you can press the other shoulder button to recoil backwards to avoid enemies. If you do the same action while drilling into a block, you can kick back to a far away platform. At higher gears, the distance is greater.
Some blocks have special properties.

Does not break. Mainly used for kick back
Regenerates 3 seconds after destroyed
Red Dozer Trailer[edit]
After completing an area, Jill is picked up in the Red Dozer Trailer. There are several options you can access to prepare for the next area.

- Map
- Choose a mission area.
- Equipment
- Examine your equipment.
- Treasures
- Check out your treasures.
- Save
- Save your progress.
Shop[edit]
Most items are not available until you progress through the game. Energy Tanks increase the maximum energy of the Drill Dozer by 100. The maps unlock a secret area.

Treasures[edit]
Treasures are hidden collectibles that are found in 
chests. Some are not accessible until you obtain a stronger drill bit.
