== Introduction Part 1 ==
Welcome to the Pokemon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color! Are you ready to start your journey to inherit the Legendary Cards?
The game starts with all 7 of the Energies being shown. They are Grass, Fire, Water, Lightning, Psychic, Fighting, and Colorless. They circle around three cards: Charizard, Scyther, and Aerodactyl. Then they circle around a Poke Ball, showing the game's menu and logo.


== Introduction Part 2 ==
You're crazy about Pokemon Cards and card collecting. You heard a rumor about the legendary cards, extremely powerful and rare cards held by the game's best players, or the Grand Masters. Those Grand Masters want someone to inherit the legend. You want to inherit them, so you visit Dr. Mason in the Mason Laboratory.
The menu is shown, but the only option is New Game. So just press that. The game next asks you your name. So it's simple: enter your name. Then the second intro is shown. It says you're crazy about Pokemon Cards and card collecting. Then it says you heard a rumor about the legendary cards, extremely powerful and rare cards held by the game's best players, or the Grand Masters. And apparently, those Grand Masters want someone to inherit the legend. You want to inherit them, so you visit Dr. Mason in the Mason Laboratory. And that concludes the introduction.
