(No difference)

To create a party in Ragnarok Online, you must type down "/organize" and a few other things depending on how you wish to name your party

i.e. say you wanted to call your party "Ragnarok". Type down /organize Ragnarok.

However, if you wish to add a space someone in the party, i.e. "Ragnarok Online", you must type down /organize "Ragnarok Online" to create a party under the name "Ragnarok Online"

After creating a party, you may invite players by right clicking their avatar (their character) and click on "Ask (player name) to join party" or something like that.

At party creation, you will be asked how you want the drops to be shared (drops as in any loot dropped by monsters) You can make it so that anyone in the party can pick up whatever loot a monster drops or only theirs (you can still loot the your party member's loot if they choose not to pick it up within a time limit) or make it so that whatever someone picks up, it will be evenly distributed to other party members (sometimes refered to as "Round Robin" or "Round the Table". The Third Option can be changed when opening party options after creating the party. This changes exp distribution IF and ONLY IF ALL PARTY MEMBERS ARE WITHIN 10 BASE LEVELS WITHIN EACH OTHER. If you meet the said requirements and kill a monster, an equal share of the exp is given to all players within the map, however anyone that had participated in the battle will receive more exp for killing it than a player just sitting somewhere not doing anything (called a leech, can be good OR bad) . The reason for that is because Ragnarok Online was designed to be a social game where partying can increase the amount of exp gained from a monster. The more players attacking a monster, the more exp you can possibly gain. Of course, if the Even Share exp option isn't chosen, whoever deals the most damage will gain the most exp.

in a party, party members will show up on the mini map as triangles. Also, you may view their whereabouts in the party window (also the friend window if you click on a circle in the party window). Party members may also view the other player's health in the form of a green bar under the player's avatar. Party Spells may also be used to "buff" all players at once within a screen from the caster.

Example : "Blessing" buffs one player(No Restriction on who you can cast, you can cast freely) while "Magnificat" buffs ONLY Party Members and yourself and cannot be freely used on random players.
