Hi Bmuig.  I was contemplating how you might tackle the FFS moves, seeing as most of the character are identical.  If you look at how I handled SFA2 and SFA2G, I just added a couple of SFA2G only moves to the SFA2 move lists, even though they are specific to Gold.  I just listed them as "SFA2G only" moves.  You could probably do the same with the FF2 characters and add an "FFS only" note to any moves that are different in FFS.  Then you don't have to make as many move lists for FFS.  Just a though.  See ya.

KOF organization
Hi Bmuig.  At some point over this weekend, I will try to establish a table of contents for the King of Fighters series.  I know that you started one already for the first two games.  I will keep what you have so far, I just need to move them.  It's a tiny pain, but once it's done, we won't have to worry about it any more.  Keep up the great work!  Procyon (Talk) 23:43, 21 November 2007 (CST)
:OK, I set up The King of Fighters Orochi Collection and The King of Fighters Nests Collection, and their Table of Contents.  It should guide you completely now up to KOF 2002.  After KOF 2002, we'll have to find a new way to set up 2003, NeoWave, XI and XII.  Then we can make separate TOCs for Maximum Impact, etc.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Procyon (Talk) 14:55, 22 November 2007 (CST)
::You brought up a number of good points, but there are some solutions that we can do.  For one thing, we should establish a :Category:King of Fighters, and put all of the KOF games in that, just like we do with :Category:Street Fighter.  And it may be a good idea to have a :Category:King of Fighters Characters.  Next, we can have navigation templates like Template:The Legend of Zelda, which lists all of the KOF games, and put that at the bottom of each KOF page.  Next, for the characters, we put disambiguation links at the top of the page, such as the one I put on top of Capcom vs. SNK/Characters/Akuma, which links to lists, which has all of the character links right there for people to find.  Finally, if people are looking for Ash, they can also use the search bar at the top.  What I'm hoping for by breaking up the series, is that we don't have to load up, say, Terry Bogard's page with information about every single KOF on one page.  We can break it up, and give Terry more pages and show his evolution from KOF 94 to KOF 2003 across several pages.  Procyon (Talk) 10:09, 23 November 2007 (CST)
:::OK, I understand what you mean.  Personally, I'd rather see a link like The King of Fighters/Characters/Terry #redirect to the SNK Playmore/Move lists page.  Like if we had a Street Fighter/Characters/Ryu, it should #redirect to lists#Ryu.  Just an idea.  Ultimately, it can be however you prefer.  As for the ToC, there's no need to add KOF '99 and up if it's in a Navigation Template.  You would always be able to get to it at the bottom of the page.  That would get especially confusing to a reader since '99 isn't part of the Orochi saga.  Procyon (Talk) 12:08, 23 November 2007 (CST)
FYI
Since I finish up with Capcom Fighting Evolution, I started to move on to Battle Coliseum.  As a result, I ended up doing Kyo Kusanagi's movelist, and it is of course one of the most complicated.  Anyway, I figured you'd like to know so that whenever you work on Kyo, you can copy this list and cut it down to whatever is necessary, since I think that list contains almost every move that Kyo has ever had.  It should save you some time.  Take care!  Procyon (Talk) 16:40, 28 November 2007 (CST)
Character info
Hi Bmuig.  I like the idea that you have for the basic character information.  There's only one problem.  The name that you chose the house that information is not good.  In accordance with our policy, the main page name (the first name before a "\") should be a guide or at the very least, a company.  In other words, "SNK\Characters\Terry\Basic Information" might have been more acceptable.  However, the information that you're trying to transclude is so small, that it could just as easily be copy and pasted between each fighter's page, and therefore, does not really warrant saving in their own pages.  The idea was good, but the method isn't worth the effort to maintain.  Please don't be upset if we delete them.  I will make sure that the information is not completely lost.  Procyon (Talk) 09:57, 6 December 2007 (CST)
:Hi Bmuig.  I'm sorry that the deletions upset you.  I didn't want to make you sad, but all of your hardwork was kept on the individual character pages, so it wasn't completely lost.  I will try to explain why we had to delete them as best as I can:
:Transcluding should be kept to a minimum, when there is a lot of information that needs to be contained on a lot of pages, and you only want to have to edit it once.  You are correct that the information you were adding needs to be contained on a lot of pages, and you are correct that trying to update every page with new information would be kind of a pain.  However, there are better ways of handling the problem than by transcluding very small pieces of information.  Take a look at how I handled SF2 Ryu.  At the very top of the page, there's a link that takes the reader to the Capcom move lists page where all of Ryu's appearances are listed together.  If you could set something like that up on the SNK Playmore move lists page for Terry, then you'd only have to direct the user to one place, and update the move lists page whenever you add a new appearance.  I hope you understand.  Again, I agree with your idea, just not its implementation.  I discussed it with Prod for a very long time to determine the best possible solution.  Feel free to share your thoughts with me.  Procyon (Talk) 12:49, 6 December 2007 (CST)
::I'm sorry, you are absolutely correct.  I meant to direct you to SF2 Akuma.  I have not had a chance to fix Ryu yet, but I plan to very shortly. Procyon (Talk) 13:57, 6 December 2007 (CST)
:::Hi Bmuig.  May I offer you any assistance setting up the SNK Playmore move lists page so that it is similar to the Capcom move lists page?  Or would you like to handle it on your own? Procyon (Talk) 09:14, 7 December 2007 (CST)
counter thanks
No problem. :) I tend to do more wandering around fixing things than adding information. By the way, I have been noticing how much you do on some of the fighting games. Thanks for putting so much work into these, they look great!
Also, if you are ever worried about your spelling/grammar/anything while working on a guide feel free to tell me and I will run the whole guide through spell-check and give it a good proof reading for ya. --Zaiqukaj 08:23, 8 December 2007 (CST)
userboxes
Yes, that's fine! I kind of meant for people to just source it from my page, because then it'd be in the page source, but I don't really care that much. The credit thing is just for consistency between users as to what their box looks like. Anyways, thanks for telling me! I am glad you like it. -- <span style="color:green"><font size="3pt">towers</font></span> <span class="plainlinks sigimage">http://media.strategywiki.org/images/a/a8/Towers_trex.gif</span> 13:45, 26 December 2007 (CST)
New Character Pages
Greetings. First off, thank you for referring me to the Move lists project. The information contained on that page was most helpful.
I really like the new character page style your proposing. I'm just letting you know that I took the liberty of creating a custom header for your test page. This one has the advantage of not automatically making the game field into a link so no more obnoxious red text. Yay!
I also cleaned up the custom field by replacing all of the AOF and TKOF links with links to the AOF and TKOF categories. The new version is a lot cleaner and easier to navigate but I realize that if there turned out to be a few TKOF games that the character wasn't in then it might make things confusing. Maybe that could be decided on a per character basis? Anyways, see what you think. --WretchedSpawn 19:34, 20 January 2008 (CST)

Congratulations, you've been nominated for sysopship!  Please enter whether you accept or decline nomination in your entry on the requests page.  -- Prod (Talk) 16:25, 5 March 2008 (CST)
:Congratulations Bmuig.  You have been promoted to the position of sysop!  Keep up all the great work, you definitely earned this :)  Procyon (Talk) 20:57, 8 March 2008 (CST)

The King of Fighters '98
I noticed that that game is actually a redirect to The King of Fighters '98: The Slugfest.  Shouldn't all of the game specific character move lists be subpages of that (same with links on the character pages)? -- Prod (Talk) 10:09, 4 April 2008 (CDT)
Fatal Fury/Table of Contents
Can you please move that to Fatal Fury: King of Fighters/Table of Contents and take care of the pages linking to it? -- Prod (Talk) 23:12, 19 April 2008 (CDT)
:Yea, I was looking at that... Strange behaviour.  I'll look into it further (for now I just put the redirect back in just in case). -- Prod (Talk) 09:36, 20 April 2008 (CDT)
::The easiest suggestion would be to simply move Fatal Fury/Characters/X to Fatal Fury: King of Fighters/Characters/X.  If that isn't satisfactory, There are upgrades to the Footer Nav's I've been considering that may become relevant. -- Prod (Talk) 09:59, 21 April 2008 (CDT)

Why did you remove the copyvio tag from here? -- Prod (Talk) 09:28, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
KOF TOC
Hi Bmuig!  Good to see you back ^_^  I'm not sure why Garrett deleted the ToC.  Must have been a misunderstanding.  I have restored it.  Let me know if you have any more problems.  Procyon (Talk) 21:32, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Date cats
Hey Bmuig, please don't add date categories to pages. Actually, you should be removing them. Using rd, we've automated the process from the infobox. Thanks, -- 17:12, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
:Adding the |series parameter should also take care of the series category, so you can remove those as well ;).  We've tried to automate categories as much as possible. -- Prod (Talk) 17:42, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
KoF Moves
Can you subpage The King of Fighters '98: The Slugfest/Moves since it doesn't seem to load for me anymore. -- Prod (Talk) 17:17, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
:What are the redirects for? -- Prod (Talk) 17:15, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
::What do you mean by expand those redirects?  Redirects can only point to one place, and in that case, you might as well just link to the page itself rather than the redirect.  If you're suggesting using disambiguation type pages instead, then you don't need the redirect pages anywayz. When do those other games come out? -- Prod (Talk) 17:53, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
:::Argh... Bmuig, I wish you had talked with us about those page renames before going ahead and going through with them.  We're actually thinking of shortening those page names because the subtitle issues cause too much confusion.  Different console ports get different subtitles occasionally.  So the first Fatal Fury game should simply be referred to as Fatal Fury, and not Fatal Fury: The King of Fighters, which never actually appears in the official title under most listings.  It only appears on the title screen as a less regarded subtitle.  We'll work this out.  Procyon (Talk) 22:46, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
::::Hi Bmuig.  I appreciate your help with all of this.  It's so unfortunate, because so much confusion is created by the inconsistency on the part of the publishers themselves when it comes to subtitles.  Ultimately, Prod and I felt that one policy to rely upon is the official title printed on box art and promotional artwork.  In such cases, you never see "The World Warrior" on an SF2 box, or "The King of Fighters" on any Fatal Fury box art.  The only time you see those words (as far as I have been able to determine) is on the title screens of the games (which makes you wonder why companies bother to include them in the first place.)  As official as we try to be with the titles, it's ultimately about making the information easy for a reader to find.  And we all know that when people search, they search on the least amount of terms that should result in a positive hit for what they're looking for.  One thing I've been doing is using gamefaqs as a reference database for titles.  What I found was that the term "The Wold Warrior" only occurred for the US version of the arcade game, and for no other version or port of the game.  So clearly it is not a commonly referenced title.  *sigh*  Isn't the gaming industry awesome?  :)  Procyon (Talk) 15:34, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
KOF names reply
I changed Goro to Daimon because he is always, ALWAYS, referred to as Daimon. The same with Goenits, Krauser, Kensou and Yamazaki.  I think arbitrarily  using first names is an incredibly bad idea, you might as well call E. Honda as Edmund, T. Hawk as Thunder, Hagger as Mike, Stryker as Kurtis, ect.  Those without background knowledge of the games wouldn't know who your talking about.Blue Phoenix 14:21, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Little Fighters 2
Hey Bmuig,<br>
Hey I don't know if you will help me on this project. I have recently created a Little Fighter 2 guide Little Fighter 2 But I need a lot of help with it. I heard from Melon247 that you liked fighting games. (cause apparently she doesn't) She suggested me to ask you if you wanted to help. I think you don't have a lot of time because of work, but I have school so I proboably am equally busy. (maybe not) If you can't just let me know on my talk page. Thanks anyways.<br>-May you days be filled with adventure Jakcer (Talk) 01:13, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

History line
Hello Bmuig, I was wondering if you would be willing to find the time to fill in the strategy tips sections for the French campaign in the History Line: 1914-1918 game. I've been systematically building stub pages for the maps lately and when I'm done with it I'll move on to the German campaign. If you're not into it I could attempt to write something myself, however it would be a rather poor attempt. -- Furiat 12:22, 9 January 2011 (CST)
:Thanks for the thumbs up on the HL project. As for the maps - I just took your samples and made best effort to create similar or identical ones (even up to the point of trying to find the same font, which didn't work out). And I must say - adding enemy subs in their correct spots is a pain. I understand you not having time do devote to it - hope you'll have more time someday. I feet it's a lost cause, because not a lot of people would take up the (very old) game these days. -- Furiat 14:53, 11 January 2011 (CST)

You see, after touring this site and subsequently joining, I<br />
realized that the Final Fantasy Tactics page has a great deal of pages<br />
that are simply gone or missing(or never there)and i would like to rectify <br />
that. If you or anyone else could help me with this i would be greatly apreciative<br />

thank you for your time<br />
