During his dive to the Grid, Sora encounters the enormous octopus Nightmare, Brawlamari. It can attack by either shooting lasers from its tentacles, splitting a boulder, slashing with its tentacles, shooting spheres of light in place of ink, or slowing its fall in an attempt to get Sora to collide with it mid-dive. All attacks can be dodged with {{3ds|Y}}, excluding the last; press {{3ds|B}} for Sora to perform an aerial brake, momentarily slowing his fall and avoiding a clash with the Nightmare. Following this attack, Sora will be close enough to Brawlamari to be able to attack. Target the colorful bubbles on its head until it once again speeds up its fall, restarting the barrage of attacks which Sora must dodge. Defeat Brawlamari quickly for a high rank. The less health Sora loses, the quicker the battle.

Upon arrival, Riku, like Sora, is confronted by guards who wish to take him prisoner. Riku goes along with the guards and meets another prisoner, Sam. Following the short introductory scene, Riku will be thrust into a life-or-death battle of Light Cycles. When Riku is on his Light Cycle, he may switch between ribbons and weapons fire to deal with enemies accordingly as he makes his way to the goal. Press {{3ds|Y}} to switch between these two modes when necessary. Primarily use ribbons when the other racers are behind Riku to trip them up. Since Riku is faster in this mode, he can also get ahead of racers this way to defeat them with the ribbon. Racers coming up from behind Riku are indicated by the "Danger" arrow at the bottom of the screen, so have his ribbons ready. Alternatively, use weapons fire, firing assault shots by pressing {{3ds|A}} in this mode, to take down any racers which Riku cannot catch up to along with the aerial fighters which come up midway into the race. Oftentimes the other cyclers will attempt to trip Riku up with their own ribbons; press {{3ds|B}} to jump over them as they cross Riku's path to effectively avoid them. Save your health when fighting the cyber soldiers, as the real challenge comes when a Dream Eater arrives onto the track.

The Commantis is vulnerable to the same attacks as the other cyclers; it begins the battle by coming up behind Riku, in which case Riku can use ribbons to attack. After dealing a good amount of damage, the Commantis will spear through Riku to get ahead of him. Avoid this attack and switch formation, staying off to the side of the track and firing until the Commantis places itself behind Riku, repeating the cycle. The Nightmare's attacks consist primarily of drilling into Riku and throwing discs at him. Jump over the discs and avoid its other attacks easily by steering the Light Cycle out of its way. Clearing the battle will raise Riku's maximum HP, and get him back on foot.

====Bridge and City====
Prepare Riku for the rest of the world and save at the Save Point. Before moving forward, turn back and defeat the Dream Eaters on the bridge. On the other side of it, hiding behind the raised bridge, should be a chest containing a '''Water Barrel'''. Now go back toward the Save Point and on this side of the bridge you should find another chest, this time containing '''Panacea'''. Now, for the last time, return to the Save Point and move forward. Follow the path to the end and drop down to the hexagonal platforms. Here Riku will be attacked by both Dream Eaters and a laser from above. Defeat the Dream Eaters as you avoid the laser, then collect the '''Potion''' from the foot of the hexagonal platforms. Now, look for the western wall and use Flowmotion to get on top of it. Alternatively, you may use Reality Shift on a nearby transporter and examine it to take you there. Here, Riku will be attacked by Meow Wows and Escarglows. Defeat them and open up the chest for a '''Royal Cake'''. Find another raised platform to the north and jump up to it for an '''Ice Dream Cone 2'''. You may now continue on to the next path. Use Flowmotion to get up the wall it circles to find a platform holding a '''Noble Fantasy''' . Drop back down and find a chest on the hexagonal platform for a '''Shield Cookie'''. Follow the next path, use Flowmotion on a southern wall for a '''Wondrous Figment''', and exit the area.
If you've started Sora's side, you should be familiar with the sloping red tracks here. Take the left one up and hop off when you see a platform for a '''Drop-Me-Not'''. Continue up to reach the platform at the top. Fight the Dream Eaters here before turning to the next set of tracks. Take the one to the left. It will be cut short, so make sure Riku falls on the platform below to avoid a long fall. Open the chest for a '''Fleeting Figment''' and continue along. You should see some chests down below but just as Riku makes his way down the next set of tracks, a scene is triggered. Sam leaves, and as Riku waits for him to return, he is attacked by a large group of Dream Eaters. Defeat them all and Riku's deck capacity will increase. Following another scene, Riku will finally get the opportunity to explore. Find a chest below the ramp for a '''Confetti Candy'''. Now turn back to find a Save Point and a Moogle Shop. Across from them you should find a chest containing a '''Potion'''. Go past the Save Point and you should see the red tracks again. Across from them is a platform which Riku can use Flowmotion to get to for '''Thundara'''. Return to the ramp which Riku started out by. Go up it and exit.
====Docks and Rectifier====
Follow the path; approach the door and it will open. Head left at the fork and use Flowmotion up the wall at the end of the path to find a chest containing '''Confetti Candy 2'''. Continue down the path to the end to find a large chest containing '''Counter Aura'''. Return to the split and head right this time. In the last room, you should find a locked door and an automated turret. Destroy the turret using Reality Shift (Auto-Destruct) and the wall will break with it. Inside this hidden room you should find a '''Shield Cookie''' and a device that Riku can use Reality Shift on. As it turns out, this device is connected to the locked door, and by using Reality Shift, Riku can unlock it. Now head through the door you just unlocked and take the elevator down. Defeat the Dream Eaters and destroy the automated turrets with Reality Shift, and Riku should be able to drop down to a new area. Defeat the Dream Eaters, then find the chest to the right of the pillar in the center for a '''Potion'''. To the right wall is a chest containing a '''Balloon''' and to the left wall is a '''Drop-Me-Not'''. Walk along this wall and save at the Save Point before boarding the Solar Sailor.
Before continuing on, turn back to find a '''Balloon''' all the way by the northern wall. Now turn back and find the chest containing a '''Hi-Potion''' to the left wall as you fend off the guards. Back at the southern end of the path, jump up on the ledge and find the chest containing a '''Block-it Chocolate''' behind the box. Jump up to see the platforms that continuously rise and drop. At the end of the left one is a '''Fleeting Figment'''. Drop down and open the large chest for a '''Peepsta Hoo Recipe'''. Continue on to the brightly-lit path with the red tracks to the right, where Dream Eaters will spawn. Open the chest to the left for a '''Shield Cookie 2''' and the one to the right for a '''Panacea'''. Turn back to where you found the recipe and take the stairs to the left this time. Open the chest for a '''Potion''' and defeat the guards before exiting to the second level. Go right, down the stairs, and follow the path until you come across two chests below the stairs on the upper level; open them for a '''Drop-Me-Not''' and a '''Noble Figment'''. Turn back and follow the path up the stairs. Defeat the two guards that attack Riku and turn right for a chest containing a '''Potion'''. Continue up and along the path with the red tracks until you reach a split, where Riku will be attacked by three guards. Defeat them and head right, where you can use Reality Shift on a transporter. Take it up and find the chests containing a '''Block-it Chocolate 2''' and '''Gravity Strike'''. Take the transporter back and head right for a '''Confetti Candy 2'''. Defeat the guards and save at the Save Point before exiting the area.
Continue along, defeating the guards along the way, and you'll get a series of scenes. Afterward, turn back for a '''Hi-Potion'''. A variety of Dream Eaters will spawn. Open the chest to the right for a '''Drop-Me-Not''' and use a mix of combos and Flowmotion attacks to defeat them. Use Reality Shift to destroy the missile launchers up ahead. Continue on and guards will drop onto the scene. Defeat them and open the chest by the Save Point for '''Paint Gun: Black x10'''. Save and go up the stairs to face the world's boss.
===Boss: Commantis===
===Boss: Commantis===
{{sect-stub}}
If you've defeated Rinzler already on Sora's side, then the Commantis shouldn't be too much of a problem. Its attacks include a fall that produces missiles, throwing discs, and circling the arena wall so that, if Riku is caught on the walls and doesn't manage to avoid this devastating attack, his health will reach a critical point. It will occasionally take a rest, though, giving Riku a chance to cure or attack without relent. Mid-battle, the Commantis will also perform a charge. Stop this charge using Reality Shift (Energy Jammer), or disastrous results will occur. It will go into a charge a few times following this, so make sure you're ready to perform some quick Reality Shifts when the time comes. Following its defeat, Riku will obtain the Dual Disc and will be allowed to leave the world.
===Solar Sailor===
Once Riku has left the world, he can dive back in to collect treasures in a previously inaccessible area of the map. Select the Docks as your destination and board the Solar Sailor right next to you. You should recognize this area from Sora's side, condensed into a cutscene for Riku's. Behind the second stack of boxes is a '''Panacea'''. Jump through the window on the right and climb up the stacked boxes to make it up to the next level. Make it to the end of this path to find an automated turret. Use Reality Shift (Auto-Destruct) to destroy it, clearing a wall. Jump through the newly-formed gap to discover a split path. Start by moving forward. At the end of this hall is a '''Hi-Potion'''. Jump through the window on the right to make it into a new hall. Here you should find another automated turret stationed on the floor, being protected by a new bunch of Dream Eaters. Focus on the turret first by using Reality Shift to destroy it, then take out the Nightmares and find the chest containing '''Paint Gun: White x10''' around the left corner. Now turn back around and jump into the window on the left to find a new hall with a horizontal bar which Riku may use Flowmotion on in the center of it. Destroy the turret and pick up the '''Drop-Me-Not''' at the end of the hall. Head through the next window (made by destroying the turret) and open the three chests in this hall for a '''Royal Cake''', '''Shield Cookie 2''', and '''Wondrous Figment'''. Now climb up on the boxes here to reach the final level of the Solar Sailor.

All the way in the back-left corner is a chest containing '''Treasure Goggles''', defended by a large amount of Dream Eaters. From here, move up two cars (once the turret is destroyed on the second, both of these cars should have gaps in them). Drop into the second gap, and then drop down again to find a '''Troubling Fancy''', marking the last treasure of the world. Leave by continuing on to the Rectifier until you come across a Save Point, and move on to the next world.
